    Gone with the Wind

Who has read the book or seen the movie? I have been wondering about the personality types of some of the characters.

    Scarlett O'Hara: ESFJ
    Rhett Butler: ENTP
    Ashley Wilkes: INFP
    Melanie Wilkes: INFJ
    Mamie: ESFJ
    Aunt PittyPat: ESFP

The movie is great. I would put Rhett down as a feeler, maybe an NF.

    ENTP - The Visionaries

best guess for what it's worth:

    Melanie: ISFJ
Ashley: INFJ (sees the consequences of the war before it even starts, general distaste for reality)
    Scarlett: ESFP, maybe ENFP.
Rhett: ISTP (just reminds me of an istp I know. his independence seems to suggest introversion.)

    ENTP - The Visionaries

Scarlett: initially an esfj, but changes to an estp or entp (think of the scene where she sees the possibility for ehr curtains to be a dress) she's a literary character, its possible for her to changetypes
    Ashley: Infj
    Rhett: entp
    Melanie: Isfj fo sho

    INTP - The Thinkers

    Scarlett O'Hara - ESTP
    Rhett Butler - ENTP
Ashley Wilkes - INFP (Idealistic daydreamer, brave in battle at Bull Run, like Joan of Arc.)
Melanie Wilkes - ISFJ (Definitely a caregiver, not a counselor)
    Mammy - ESFJ
    Aunt PittyPat - ESFP

I think Scarlett's more of an ESTJ.
I don't think she's P, because she's very much a planner, and although she can improvise, she prefers to stick with a plan.

Scarlett is a thinker for sure. I agree with ESTJ.

    ISTP - The Mechanics

I thought ESTJ too, but ESTP might be more realistic. An ESTJ woman would be less likely to sleep with every guy in the book.

    LOL

I hated Scarlet O'Hara and the pro-slavery rhetoric of this book.
