    Interview with the Vampire

Here are my guesses. Feel free to dispute any of them or add in any characters you think you may have figured out.

    Louis: INFJ
    Lestat: ESFP
    Claudia: INTJ
Armand: INTP (not sure about this one)
    Santiago: ESTP
    Madeleine: ESFJ

    Any others?

Armand....INTJ.....remember he was one to live by rules and law and judge

    Vittorio?

I think Armand is INTJ also

Yes, I now see Armand as being INTJ. The similarities between him and Claudia are probably what caused their rivalry... a fight for dominance. I got stuck on whether he used Ti->Ne or Ni->Te while philosophizing.

I don't know about Vittorio; what do you type him as? Do you agree with the others as well?

    INTP - The Thinkers

Lestat is certainly no esfp. i can see him as estp or entp

Lestat acts purely on his emotions and desires. Everything he did was to get something he wanted and most of it was badly thought out (like turning Claudia into a vampire). His view of the future was extremely limited and shallow (definitely not ENTP), and all he cared about was fulfilling his own thirsts. If he was an ESTP, he would at least be able to deconstruct ideas and theories using Ti but he didn't even do that much. Also, when he was toying with his mortal musician, everything he did with the boy was centered around what made him feel excited. There was no logical thinking involved whatsoever.

    I second the ESTP

I say this because of his constant scheming to fulfill his desire. The desire of the vampire is inherent to all of them. That doesn't make them feelers. It would be how they behave to get what the want.

If Lestat made if a point to toy with all of his victims, then I'd say he would be a feeler. It was business as usual to feed.

But Lestat did toy with almost all of his victims.

But was it to taste the fear and adrenaline or simply because he wanted to screw with them?......

Lestad DID toy with his victims for fun. this has nothing to do with feeling, but Se or Ne in combination with Ti is just this; an experimental temperament. Lestat is a total psycopath who is also very careful that the other vampires see him as the boss. hirarchy is important to him. and as for acting on his feelings, this is not entirely true. you don't identify a feeler on this. thinking - feeling functions are decision making, not instigating. you are not talking about feelings,March Cat, but desires. Thinkers are as full of them as feelers. it is pretty clear to me that lestat uses feelings for accomodating and manipulation, wich is the realm of Fe. i have never met an esfp that remotely reminds me of lestat
