If you pay attention to how 4 talk, then yes! It may sound sad and emo, but that's what we 4s are like XD It's really spot on when I'm in my 4 mood. Everything just sucks and life is terrible and I just need a shoulder to cry on and pat me on the back and say "there there, life will be better".

As for video recordings (or at leat voice recordings) to discern our types, I think talking about how our day was would be sufficient. What was good? What was bad? I think as people ramble on the type should probably become more apparent?

I don't like this!!!!! I am a 4 and I don't tell sad stories. Sometimes I tell stories of lost love and my friends tell me I am hooked, but that is it. No sad stories.

I'm a four, and I don't talk like that..seriously, I'm pretty honest with myself when it comes to this stuff and I just don't think it can be generalized like that at all.

Integration? Obviously, it's an overstatement but it does capture the 4 quite well. Maybe you don't think you sound like that. Even Naranjo goes over this with the instincts and if you listen how he depicts the 4, it's essentially the same thing. 4s are naturally self-pitying.

Sorry to dissappoint LeaT, but even I don't feel the great depression that 4s are supposed to be known for. I think its because of the 7 in my trifix.

Of course, that can play a role too. I am generalizing. Not everyone has to fit the mold but based off the general impression of 4, I do think it fits well. And I think it's funny all of you go "but oh, it doesn't apply to me because I'm so special!" XD

    4, 5, 2, 1, 7, and 9 sound like things I would say.

Hmmm I actually like this analysis quite a bit. I never thought with all honesty how judging on the way someone talks reveals a small opening of someone's possible type. In my case , I would guess 1 especially when I was in high school,, 4 reflected in my poetry as well, 5 when I point out things due to my tendency to over analyze, 6 definitely with no hesitation at all, 7 when I am not serious or just want to be sarcastic and 9 also quite a lot. But I ponder how this idea came to fruition in a very elaborate way...
