  1. FYI: I'm in the middle of a health issue

    by , 06-10-2019 at 06:16 PM
Just in case anyone doesn't know. I have developed chronic diverticulitis, which is going to require surgery. It has significantly slowed my roll, and I have lost 60 pounds in the last few months. I am scheduled for surgery in about 10 days, so I may again become scarce for a while. I'll try to stop in when I can. They are going to take a piece of my large intestine out and reconnect the rest. I am hoping this will be the end of it, but it's going to be a slow recovery. I've got to spend some time ...

Whatís your fitness goal: Do you want to lose 10 pounds? Run a 10-minute mile? Or maybe do 10 pushups in a row? What if I told you that the first step to any of those goals wasnít finding a new fad diet or fitness routine, but taking a test based on the MBTI?

Damn this medication rearrangement--my limbs? Don't ...

[QUOTE=BranchMonkey;34421650]I don't think of smoking as cool or dumb, nor could I choose that it doesn't affect my view of a person.

I've known many people who grew up in the southern U.S. and other locales where tobacco farming was how their parents and grandparents made a subsistence living.

Along the way, most picked up smoking early and the habit stuck, while some were able to kick it.

I suppose if I grew up knowing people in locales where opiates ...
  5. Went to a neurologist day before yesterday.

Was diagnosed with spinal disc herniation. Got very strong non-inflammatory drugs so that it would heal and I need to do exercises to strengthen my back and belly muscles. Not sure if I'll be able to lift heavy stuff again, though.
At least not until I'll somehow lose tens of kgs of excess weight.

I remember that I could stay upright for most of day and was on internship after I got a 10 day ketonal treatment. Had to quit the intern-ship due to a nasty recurring sinusitis (which ...
