Those were my essential 10min tracks

Symphony X reached their climax on this album, in terms of composition post-V albums are lazier, and pre-V are less mature. Twilight in Olympus and The Odyssey are still very good..

Turisas's Varangian Way album is kinda in between Symphony X Odyssey period and Ensiferum, best epic album I've heard in the last decade..

That being said, the best album I've heard in that decade is Infra vs Ultra from Neurotech. It's in between Ocean Machine and Sybreed.

I'm picky when it comes to full albums. Very few don't bore me. Varangian Way, Biomech, the Holy Live and V were part of the good list. Other full albums I'd recommend are Nightfall In Middle Earth from Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden's Powerslave which hasn't aged so badly, Strapping Young Lad's City, Erebus from The Amenta (their other albums suck), Lucas Turilli's King of the Nordic Twilight... Maybe they're not all on youtube, I'll try to see what I find.

^Lammendam is definitely one of the best sympho black album so far. Haunted echos is one of my favorite tracks of all time, almost on par with the loss and curse of reverence.

Coheed and Cambria (really depends on the album/song if it's metal or rock though).
