What's your favorite TV show title sequence?

As the title suggests, share your favorite (or favorites) TV show title sequence, and if you so desire, perhaps the reasons why you like it so much.

I don't really watch any current tv series, but I do watch Netflix occasionally. I am currently watching Person of Interest. Previously I watched Daredevil. I am really disappointed that it was cancelled.

I think the intro to Daredevil is interesting and perfect (IMO) for the series.

Person of Interest title sequence is also fitting for the show.

    This takes me back.

I watched a lot of Nova and Newton's Apple as an '80s kid in the '80s.
Oh! And let's not forget these!

I Love the Game of Thrones sequence. I bought the song. The percussion is top notch riveting. The animation of the cities rising from the ground, each reflecting symbolism of the corresponding 'houses' and storyline is spellbounding. The graphics change some from season to season as new regions are revealed. The theme song is then individualized to reflect the journeys of certain characters or their houses with unusual instruments often used.

This is my favorite title sequence, song-wise. I used to be a big They Might Be Giants fan.

Well, I'm into metal so this is a cool one.

    This one's just a classic.

I like the song and animation sequence combination here.

I'll do an anime post soon, but until then...

    American Gods

    LOST
Simple but effective. I always thought that the lettering of the word LOST looked like it was supposed to be over a place on a map, the way the camera kind of twists sideways like it's looking across a flat surface. But of course, we don't know where the island is, so the map is black. Unknown, mysterious, foreboding.

    The Terror

    True Detective Season 1
A lot of shows seem to mimic this now.

    Westworld Season 1
