Te vs Ti and Fe vs Fi ( Well basically INTJ vs ISTP)

    Hey!

So I've been a bit confused about my type and decided to look into the cognitive functions a bit more.
    INTJ vs ISTP
    Ni Ti
    Te Se
    Fi Ni
    Se Fe

So the first four functions are almost the same, however Te, Ti , Fi and Fe are different (not counting the order of the functions). I'm really insecure about how to determine in which order I use every functions since I don't know the main difference between the things that are different between the types. I've been searching on google after answers , no luck. So I figured that if I find out whether I use Ti or Te and Fe or Fi most, it would be a start. And can I really find a place that isn't PerC that will give me the answers? Well yes, but I trust you guys in helping me since PerC is awesome( And most people seem to know what they are doing) .

Ill explain Fe and Fi in real examples: Fi me Vs Fe my wife.

Fe-one day I forget my wife's anniversary, she get very very mad and didn't talk to me and became passive aggressive for a week criticizing me all the day, she got hurt because she (believes) that forgetting anniversary means that I don't care and don't love her and of course that is not true. that is Fe example

Fi- we hired an old house cleaner and her physical health was so bad she cant clean the entire house, my wife fired her and that woman cried and begged my wife not to send her back, when I knew she cried I felt so bad about her because I put my self on her shoes and I would be hurt if I'm rejected for something I cant control it, I told my wife we shouldn't fire her she didn't want to leave and she don't deserve it, my wife was surprised why I'm concerned about a servant because her values are derived from her family traditions and what is right and wrong thing to do, if her mother told her that it is wrong to fire old woman she would feel guilty but as long as it is acceptable she wont put herself on that woman shoes, but to me if it hurts my feelings it is wrong even if it is acceptable act.

    Example of Ne:
when Ive read historical events I look at them from different angle and try to find motives and conspiracy behind it. and I build a ridiculous hypothesis that is noway to be testable or refutable . for example, I see, the exodus of Sephardic Jews from Roman Spain and the emerge of Islam in the region and are connected,I believe the Islamic revolution is a long term plan made by superior intelligent political group (who I strongly believe most of their members are exceptionally rich Sephardic Jews who want to control the Economy of the region) to create a new version of Judaism designed specifically for Arab race (who share same ethnicity), to secure their survival by the protection of Arab Armies, to expand their empire( which disguised as Islamic conquest in the name of Al-Jihadia), and to control sea trade routes in the Mediterranean sea, and destroy the Roman Empire and reclaim back Spain.

that is all I have with my experience. I hope that help GL

I use Fe and don't think you're relating to your wife's feelings very well *coughtypicalFicoughcough*
Also, are you sure your wife uses Fe/Ti?
I'm going to assume that she does and explain from a Fe perspective what might have taken place. A Fe user wouldn't be completely devoid of sympathy for another human being, especially one outwardly expressing pain. If she does use Fe she probably did sympathize with her, but was using her Ti in this instance to deal with the situation. Why hire a person who can't perform their job? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, your wife isn't a charity organization.

I look more at Fe and Fi in this way. Fi is more focused on it's own morality and feelings while Fe is more focused on the morality and feelings of others. Often times I have no idea how I'm feeling about something until well after an incident has taken place, but I can pick up on another person's emotional state rather easily. I feel the need to take care of other people's emotional states and to create harmony.

Most Fi users value harmony as well, but are quite fine with creating discord if someone is going against their own personal moral codes. Fe values the moral codes of others, or at least is accommodating of them even if they don't agree with them, Fi values it's own moral codes. I will defend a person's right to believe what they want, even if I completely disagree with their beliefs. Fi doesn't tend to do that, but they will try to relate by using their own feelings.

Your wife probably values your moral stance and consideration towards the elderly house keeper, but her Ti can't see the logical consistency of paying someone that she has to clean up after. Fe combined with Ni can also see through maudlin bullshit pretty well, and it wouldn't surprise me if the housekeeper might've been haming it up a bit. There are a lot of predators out there that like to play victim because they know people are easily manipulated and don't want to be seen as the bad guy.

"I use Fe and don't think you're relating to your wife's feelings very wel"
you are Ni/Fe which is totally different than Si/Fe. it is hard to explain everything in my mind, that is why you misunderstood me, I m not telling Fes are ruthless merciless, their value judgement based on absorbed ethical morals, like religion, family morals, not own idealism world, in other word unlike my Fe wife I create my own values and morals based on what I feel about situation, Fe make judgement based on the stored ethical based values which derived from traditions and norms and religion background for example, if religion ask for mercy to the poor she will highly sympathize with every beggar in street without spotting their ingenuity unlike me if I spot that he is a ESTP crook making a living out of naive, my heart turns to rock and I use sarcasm and make fun of him laugh at him, call him shit/dog/animal humiliate him, yell at him I throw coins at floor and watch him collect them I become asshole to teach him a lesson not to fool me, my wife get annoyed and shout at me and start passive aggressive shit when I do that to crooks and they fake crying to evoke her feelings. see now we flip the coin to your side.

"re you sure your wife uses Fe/Ti? "

she is Si/Fe or Fe/Si , not Ti at all.

"user wouldn't be completely devoid of sympathy for another human being"

she is kind hearted and that is why I love her, but her values and sympathy rely mostly to the ethical morals she absorbed from family and surround, she is not the person who put herself in other's shoes and feel their pain, she make judgement based on her absorbed stored ethical morals rather than natural sense of right and wrong, when she is with her children she is more sympathetic than I and she overindulge them, because she saw her mother do that to her, when my boy cry for unknown reasons his cry hardly touch my feelings unlike her because I know he is faking it most of times, she always hug him she is typical isfj, but when it comes to managing house she is tough with workers and the funny part is that when they cry result is she punish them to double their work she 0 sympathize with them unless they passionately work hard because that what she learn from her mother not to go easy with maids.

"Why hire a person who can't perform their job? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, your wife isn't a charity organization. "
we discovered that lately after we brought her from maid office so we sent her back.
when she fired the maid she did the right choice but to me I cant stand firing people specially when a decision would disturb them because time she wasnt faking the cry, because she was confortable with our house and she got experience working in ruthless bastards who dont give her salary and beat her, and that is why I felt bad that we fired her even if it is necessary my wife didnt see my point and didn't care it is my own values that differ from her, you see my point, I have my own values that looks weird and non sense to my wife.
