    Never.

I used to have them though and it was mostly related to desire for x→ unfulfilled expectations→frustrations→emotional outbursts←→depression. Pathetic, right?

No, because if an amazing person such as myself has done the same thing, it must be okay. In spite of the blunt phrasing I used, I was wondering if you guys have better control of your emotions.

Not much at all to be honest... Though I suppose it depends massively on how unhappy, insecure etc I have been feeling.
The closest thing to an emotional breakdown I've had that I can remember (it's been THAT long... lol) is an angry/frustration one. I get those easily if I'm being controlled by someone, or if a problem I am trying to resolve is refusing to go away no matter what option I take to end it. But other than that, my emotions are relatively stable : )

I can't answer this for all the of the ENFPs though.

However, I am very well in control of my emotions because I know where they - my emotions - are coming from and where the emotions of others are coming from as well. It's a matter of being able to discern patterns. Maybe it's because I am a 1w9 so I will do anything to make sure that I do the right thing and I think I am more detached than the 4s and 7s. Doing the right can is something you can only do if you are clear headed. If not, then don't act. Inferior emotions can only lead to conflict with yourself or with others eventually. Emotions don't lie and you can't trick them so it's better to make peace with them.

I wonder how other ENFPs respond to this. Good question.

I'm just glad it was taken as a question and not an insult.

I don't think any offence was taken... though I am mid-emotional breakdown at this precise moment in time.

Hehe couldn't resist. Thanks for the question! Any new ones?
