Religious ENFP party! :D C'mon in, fellow believers...
Come out, come out, wherever you are, fellow believers! Bring your Bibles (or other religious text you subscribe to) if you're so inclined. I have cookies. :D *holds up platter*
I'm a cradle Catholic and have matured a lot in my faith, growing closer to God over the past few years. Prayer and a diverse faith community of super genuine, supportive friends have made dealing with all the worries and feelings of uncertainty and self doubt stemming from my sensitive, overly analytical ENFP brain SO much easier. It feels so good to know that God is always there, lovin' you unconditionally, no matter how badly you screw up. :happy: Can anyone relate?
Some cool passages (share your faves, please, if you have 'em!)-
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
ôLet not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me."
"If God is for us, who can ever be against us?"
"Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.' "
"Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall."
"An anxious heart weighs a man down,
but a kind word cheers him up."
"Trust in the LORD and do good;
Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the LORD;
And He will give you the desires of your heart."
My questions for you guys-
1. How do you feel God in your life? How do you know he's there for you?
2. Why is your faith important to you?
2. How does your ENFP-ness jive with your faith (i.e. it gives you feelings of strength, it conflicts with it, does it feel weird talking to a deity who doesn't immediately talk back, etc.)?
