Personally, I've gone tired trying to think the only way to make money would be for socialism, but we also need to be liberalism too, like a mixed economy of statehood and sovereignty. The terminology of political beliefs is simple just explained what occured, how it was like, and do we feel when were comfortable to speak on anything. Everyone is in the political spectrum for some time or another. Its racial, gender, religious, and the economy of free markets with regulation from government to make the stock market run clean as ever.
Governmental regulation and Corporate cooperatives!! 'planned economy of decisions, with free market of choices, socialist-capitalism!

There is no way to eradicate poverty.

I can't waste time coming up with a solution for a problem that isn't really a problem. There are enough natural resources in the world for everyone to have a decent amount of wealth but there is corruption and corrupt governments and these things are at play and can never be eradicated because humans have a tendency to be evil.

I am suspicious of anyone who wants to put everyone on the same playing field and level. We have what we have for a reason and sometimes for no reason at all.

A better thing to ponder would be how we who are wealthy can help the poor. There are practical ways we can do this and even though we cannot get rid of an entire economic class we can ease the burden a little. I think it is not our duty to do this but it is a good thing and a kind thing.

Universal income, maybe? I'm not sure if there really is a cure tbh

UBI, paid for by charging transaction fees on C Corporations. There will be an algorithm that calculates revenue, less expenses but not less compensation for principals vs the number of employees, with incremental reductions in the size of the fees as ratios decrease, in order to stimulate employment and increase in employee salaries. This avoids the accounting shell game of paying everything out to top tier earners, prior to calculating taxes.

    In U.S.?

I would actually have someone indigent--use the following line: "I have no reason to be hopeless, I can do it myself, I just don't want to be cruel" ea. and every time that he approaches an official of the government (whom is suppose to be self-less) and then packet the responses that he receives to prove that the 13th amendment has been transgressed on. Have her/him repeat this until they genuinely find a self-less official.

It would be that easy.... let that XNTJ defuse the stress.

It would have to be a race-blind, sex-blind version of the 1950's, with all the policies that implies (no outsourcing of jobs, no illegal immigration, high tax rate for the very wealthy, etc). Frankly, if you can't get above the poverty line in an economy like that, either you're a little kid (thus it is the responsibility of your parent(s)/legal guardian to get you above the poverty line), or there is something seriously wrong with you.

I would sort the aforementioned into the following categories:

    1) Elderly and/or age-related decrepitude. (60+ doesn't have to work anymore)
    2) Too sick/disabled to work. (physical)
    3) Too sick/crazy to work. (mental)
    4) Too fucktarded/prone to making bad choices to work.
    5) Too young to work (i.e. kids), with parents who are in one or more of groups 2-4.

And here is how they would be handled.

    1) Basic cost of living allowance, and the building of retirement villages (with very low rent) to house them. But in order to live here you MUST be at least 60, be suffering from progeria (defacto elderly), or be a child (under age 18), and more on that later. Any resident cannot have guests over who are aged 18 through 59 for more than 3 days out of a month, or they will risk eviction. (No freeloading ne'er do wells taking advantage of/playing on the sympathies of the residents.)

    2) Must be sufficiently far gone to qualify for disability under our current system, AND must consent to having their name, age, place of residence, and picture placed in a database online, much as we currently do with sex offenders. Any with children (and who are are still capable of caring for the children without some kind of godawful "no food and haven't had a bath in a month" scenario unfolding) can keep the kids. (The kids are NOT identified online.) Cash rewards will be offered for anyone who provides proof that one of these individuals is scamming the system (a supposedly blind guy operating a chainsaw, a supposedly crippled woman walking around just fine at the mall, etc.)

    3) Carted off to an institution, given enough medication to make them at least quasi-normal behaviorally speaking, and given some sort of useful work to do there. (Kind of like how prison inmates make license plates.) For the kids, see #5.

    4) Carted off to an institution where they are forced to live sensibly and are educated in healthy, prosocial values, not unlike #3 but considered more of a moral disability than a psychological one per se. For the kids, see #5.

    5) Removed from the care of their loser parents, and live in #1 with the old people until they turn 18. Let some of the more robust and energetic elderly ladies play Grandma, here.

    @Elistra

No one payed the highest marginal tax rate in functionality at that time period.

No other critiques just want to be sure people consider that in general functionality rates are similar today to as they were then.

I know there were loopholes back then, sure, and that people took advantage of them. But it does appear that they still paid more back then than they do today.

It would just be misleading to say that to achieve the same functional tax burden it would require raising marginal rates to a genuine 90% or so.

I’ve been working on speaking precisely lately lol, it’s worth policing other things that could be misleading as well.

I would go for Bio Terrorism in Form of dropping bombs on people that also plant trees at the same time.
