September is our best month of the year, I expect sales should increase 15-25%. Globally the market has shrunk by 16% since last year according to google trend data, but implies a plateau. Marketing attributes this to the reduced hype since product launch, leaving us with our core customers. I think we can use this period to liquidate some inventory from the warehouses and negotiate with our supply chain a commitment to a lower volume per region.
The US is our largest market with strongholds in the states California, New York and Oregon... but there are plenty of untapped markets. I look forward to hearing what our US division has to say.
Market penetration in Canada is very high & moderately high in the UK. I recommend we work to create barriers to entry to protect our strong position. The aggressive growth strategy has meant that sales have been prioritized over profits (which we withheld dividends in order to afford), however as a result our share value is up and we are ready to consolidate our operations in these countries.
