Face it, anyone who does some of the things we do is funny. Just yesterday, I mowed a few acres, retilled a whole garden then decided the tiller wasn't doing an adequate job so went over it with a hoe barefooted with a knee brace on until I deemed the soil fine enough, then went to open my pool and realized I couldn't do it by myself and my friends were at work so I drove to a local convenience country store and just started asking people there for help opening my pool. Someone I didn't even know helped me do so. I see the hilarity in it all. I notice little things that many people don't that I find really funny.
I haven't been here in a while how's life everyone?
Hello everyone! Do you guys feel like you engage in any sort of emotionally suppressive or avoidant behavior, and if so, could you please describe it? I'm talking about a long term coping mechanism, rather than a method you use to avoid displaying emotions when it's not appropriate. An example of an emotionally suppressive behavior is making a joke out of everything, so that you can't take anything too seriously, and an example of an emotionally avoidant behavior is habitually ending relationships even though there's nothing really wrong, because you don't want to become attached.
I do end relationships quickly and frequently if I can see that they aren't going anywhere. It actually saves a lot of time and hurt for both parties.
If you were in charge of rewriting the ENTJ stereotypes / writing a unique ENTJ type description on a new MBTI website, what would you write (in short)?
What do you feel is actually intrinsic to ENTJ as a type?
