Corruption is evil and should be eliminated.

Corrupt people, especially high-level politicians or public figures, should be harshly punished.

    I didn't vote. My answer:

Corruption is the result of people being evil, and everyone's evil. Not everyone is corrupt.

None of the above. Corruption makes a system function imperfectly, and should be minimized. All this "evil" mess made it obvious OP's not an ENTJ. lol

Corruption is bad - but makes things happen.
Realistically we can't eliminate it so we move to next best:

If you cant beat them; use them. (especially against each other )

Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes. If you can't beat them, join them, then beat them.

As I think about this question more, OP, can you please define corruption? It strikes me that part of the answer lies in the definition.

Can you define corruption first? Otherwise giving an opinion on it seems kind of pointless.

None of the above; corruption is an opportunity. A corrupt organisation by definition is systematically sub-optimal -- if can correct that, I can expose and shame those in power while asserting my own competence and (even better) giving weight to my vision of how things should be run.

Again, I think corruption needs to be defined first as different types would view corruption to be something dissimilar.

    For instance: Political corruption.

Money is often used to "grease the wheel" of politics and is a favored method to expedite the political process. This is typical in politics and has been the standard operating procedure for centuries. However, modern day politics has taken this concept to stratospheric levels and has priced the average person out of this "political process". Most view monied donations as corrupt now as it excludes the average person.

Is it corrupt? If so, why? Is this due to a line drawn in the sand that shifts every so often?

i'm being reliant of people's own idea of corruption this is sort of a major element in what i'm trying to see here...
