What is it like to be an ENTP ?

This is not a serious thread. I did see a serious thread in the INTP section asking how is it like to be an INTJ, which was the inspiration for this...

Maybe if I learn about quantum physics I' ll be able to explain the whole universe, the very small and the very big work in the same way. So somehow quantum physics and astronomy have to be related! *Has a mental orgasm thinking about the idea*, I should learn everything I can! *orders both quantum physics for dummies and astronomy for dummies* *Looks up prices of telescopes* *Expends rest of the day watching Cosmos neglecting other activities that require more immediate attention*.
(The next day)... Allright, I have a lot to do today, but I want to keep watching Cosmos... Maybe I can make a game: if I study everything I need to study for my real career (which is nothing related to physics or astronomy),clean the whole house, go to the supermarket, etc in 4 hours then I can watch three episodes, if I fail then if I can complete the rest in two hours I can watch one. *Does 70% of the required tasks in 5 hours, keeps watching the episodes anyway*.
(The next day) *The books arrive* Mehh, I don't feel like reading, but I do feel like taking the bike and exploring this unexplored path in the mountains in town ... how cool it must be! I need fresh air! ... but quantum physics/astronomy is my current project... fine, if I force myself to read one chapter then I can go on a bike tour *Actually accomplishes reading it*, *Goes for a bike tour*
*On the way there meets an acquaintance* _ "Hey, how are you?" _ "I' m good, I' m good, reading about quantum physics, because, you know, understanding the very small and the very big hold the secret of time travel and parallel universes...(plus some more blahbery about it) " _ Oh... Ok... how interesting, yeah".
    *Comes home very tired*

Wife: "Hey, I was thinking of going to the supermarket and then to see uncle Roger, are you coming?
_ "Sure, what was I going to do anyway?
    (relaxing is NOT an option)"
*Goes to see uncle Roger (who was always deemed as boring an uninteresting)
_So, Roger, tell me, have you ever had a time experience?"

(One month later maybe I read 40% of the books, but SOMEDAY I' ll finish them, when I finish building this boat that I started later because imagine having your own boat! wouldn't that be cool?)

Me too, goddamn. I'm surprised at how accurate this confession is, especially because most of these never seem to be fully, 100% correct. But oh well. Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm. I was wondering if it just felt like "too correct" for me alone. I'm amused to see that it's for more ENTP's :').

    Wake up.
    Look at the clock.
    Grumble.
    Roll over.
    Grumble.
    Look at the clock.
    Fine....
    Get up.
I should work out this morning.
    Thinks about it.
    Checks phone instead.
It's a nice day off, I should treat myself to breakfast out.
    Bakes bacon instead.

Recycle this with basically every decision that gets made in my day. That's basically what it is like.

Just so you don't get too far ahead of yourself, I'm the same sort, but I'm far more active in my head than I am in the real world. Probably the reason why I'm a 5 and you're a 7. Oh, and I finished the books. All of them. I can't stop reading. Most of the time it's fiction these days. Nonfiction is just too depressing.

I do agree with most of this yet I find that the end line
    there undoes all the goodness.

"We make it look fun but it's really not"

    I vehemently disagree with that.

We make it look semi acceptable. To my mind it is very fun to have stereotypical ENTP traits.

Now if we replace the word "fun" with "productive"? Then I would agree with it all.

    Agree 100%
When people say that we easily get bored, I would instead say, we find something else that is even more fun then what we are currently doing.

Its fun being a ENTP... even if there isnt anything funny happening in your life from an outside perspective.
