That doesn't add up to what you said then.

Look I'm a simple man. ENTP function is to fix human foolishness and you sum it up as not achieving anything, so I want to slap your head at the very least.

too much thought, not enough action

Seeking ways to mix entertainment/experience seeking with work.
Life's goal : Avoiding underachieving due to personal quirks.

Thats a personal view of what comes usually with the type when it comes to our own expectations for ourselves. You might be satisfied with spreading common sense but others just want a life of self focus on their personal achievements or wherever they think they lack. Of course summing it to that was just humor by pointing the negatives. Dont be a party pooper. Rationalizing human behavior can always remain as a hobby.

    So short sighted.

Heh, sticking to typology for self improvement is what would really make me short sighted

It's simultaneous heaven and hell being a living breathing contradiction.

There's a pain to being an ENTP. It's a mix of everything. You will fit in everywhere but nowhere. You are extremely arrogant but very much aware of your own faults. Capable of anything yet not motivated to do a thing. Witty and charismatic but have a low tolerance for people. Great with advice but follow none of it. You are most likely a genius but have trouble handling your own emotions. You are an extrovert who needs a lot of personal space. You love being different but hate being misunderstood. Have brilliant ideas but lack the patience to follow through with them. You will have more interests than anyone but get bored with every one of them. Easily understand the thoughts of others but find it hard to translate your own. Surprisingly compassionate yet seemingly very cold. We make it look fun but it's really not.

I should like to add that I feel like we're the "Swiss Army Knives" of MBTI. We seem to have a "tool" for every situation, but it's not always the best tool. We can make just about anything to work in a pinch, but there's no guarantee it will last long. We aren't so good with the details, but we master the "big picture" before most people have time to look at all the pieces. Overall, I say it is a lot of fun being an ENTP. I especially love when people underestimate me. I nearly always manage to surprise them.
