General speaking, when you guys are being fucking awesome, you guys are being fucking awesome, but when you guys want to be annoying, sensitive fucks, you guys want to be annoying sensitive fucks.

Overall, I like you guys, you make me feel a bit more human and you honestly make me feel like someone gives a shit about me. You're good brain buddies and when you're not taking a debate too seriously, you can be very entertaining. And the two I know are very good at some form of art. My boyfriend loves science fiction and he's got a few stories under his belt. And my friend loves to just pick up a guitar and go at it and they're both good at what they do.

Now, enough of the happy sappy stuff.

You all are so easy to offend, and it's always the weirdest things. We can joke about the holocaust or slavery or killing one another's grandparents because they're old anyway, but then some tiny, microscopic comment will be made and first you get quiet. I know you're thinking about it, trying to rationalize it, but it doesn't work and then next comes the question of whether or not I really believe that, I don't take your concern seriously enough, you get pissy. I'm not sure if this is just my boyfriend or what, but if he doesn't agree with something, or before he gets to know something, it's stupid. His philosophy is that something is stupid until proven otherwise, which is fucking retarded.

There are more good and bad points, but I shall end here~

You guys are repetitive - that is, you make too many threads asking what we think of you.

I love you guys so much. you're so effing adorable and I don't really care to articulate why right now because I'm lazy and don't really feel like articulating my thoughts right now.
Also I have my infp friend watching while I type this... she might get mad at me while I think about stuff and type things that I really do mean but don't.

They care too much what ENTP's think of them. That's my criticism.

I think there is some deep attraction to ENTP's that is sometimes reciprocated but doesn't seem to really work. My ex wife loved that I could be an "ass" (sarcastic, cold and rational) but didn't like it when I used it on her. I loved that she was soft, feeling, and gentle but didn't like it when she'd let our life together fall apart while she brooded about some imagined slight.

I am going to call it: Bad match.

An ENTP I know just married an INFP a week ago. He says he really likes what she is doing with her career, that she is individualistic, and also her style and looks (she works as a designer and has a keen eye for color). What he doesn't like is that he says she is "very simple". I asked him to explain what he means by it and he said that he would have liked someone who kind of had more of a plan going and someone who would have messed with his mind a bit occasionally. I guess she is too open and loving for his taste, if there is such a thing. He is probably longing for some sort of dark side making an appearance and INFPs are too warm for it. I advised him to never debate with her about stuff that she feels is wrong, because in my experience with INFPs that kind of debate just does not work.

Now that you mention it, um, *looks back a couple pages*.

    Yeah.

For me personally it's because I have an ENTP in my life who I don't quite understand. So I'm trying to understand ENTPs in general better. Most of the time, I can see right through people (don't worry, I use my powers for good, not evil), but not with her.
I'm never certain if she's being truthful with me, and then I start to overanalyze her and her motives. Thus I neglect my intuition, which isn't nice for anyone.
I know that everyone is an individual, but I feel like by observing and learning about other people like her, it may help me "get" her better.

I like this pairing a lot...for friendships, relationships, sailing ships, whatever...

Perhaps it's turbulent, but so what? Life should shake you up once in awhile.

If you stay with someone until you rot and then there after continue to let anger for them narrow and degrade your soul, chances are your emotional IQ rides the short bus.

ENTPs - smart with their heads, stupid with their hearts.

There is so much potential to learn from one another.

I don't understand the INFP's infatuation with religion (generally speaking).
