having to deal with a crappy little weasel at work. that sucks. i'd just tell him firmly "look, you do your job, and i'll do mine." i mean, is he the team leader? does your team even have a team leader? if he is team leader then i might give him a little slack but if he's not he def needs to be put in his place if he is bossing you around and trying to tell you what to do.

At work, solve all of your disagreements with the boss's approval in the most ridiculous and garish ways possible. Like with the washing/drying station. Get a 5-ft stepladder. You may only need a 1 or 2 foot ladder, but a 5-footer is definitely an eye sore. He doesn't like it when you don't lock in early? Ask your boss if he can adjust your schedule at the last minute so it looks like you are "late" when you really aren't. Ask so many questions that it makes his head spin. "Can you go over that one more time?" "I just want to make sure it's perfect for you, can you show that to me again?" "I'm having a hard time with this, you told me last time that I needed to make sure it got done before I moved on, can you tell me where this needs to go?" Show him how micromanaging is going to fuck him over. Key: SHOW DON'T TELL.

I thought this was good advice :). It might even be fun for you @HerpDerpette , and you wouldn't have to stress when he'll come to yell at you again, when you know what you'll do every time. I'm sure the rest of the staff will see what you are doing, even if he starts going around complaining how he needs to tell you the same thing over and over again.

@Subtle Murder This guy is a “head chef” at a different restaurant so he has quite a bit of ego even though we have equal roles at this place. Hahaha I actually cracked and told him to fuck off because I was chopping other things while he was telling me to finish his half assed job. He held the top of my blade to stop me cutting and instinctively, I yanked it away. Luckily I didn’t cut him, that maniac.
@Desthro These ideas are awesome! I actually turned it into a game to time when he will get angry or start controlling. I was hoping that he will finish his own jobs instead of dumping them onto me (with negative reinforcement). @Jamaia I pretend that I can’t hear him over the music, like “Sorry? Whaaaat? I don’t get it, sorry no can doo”.
@starrykitty I’ve actually said that and you know what he said? “No, you listen to me ok?” He isn’t a team leader. All the girls hate him xD


Update! The managers and the boss told me they were laughing their ass off as the guy tried cooking 2-3 pans at once, clearly flustered haha. Yesterday I showed the manager how I cook 3-4 pans at once whilst dancing to the music xD it was amazing. Also he changed our roster so we won't see each other this week (and hopefully forever).
