    Is my friend really ESFJ?

My friend did a personality test and she's ESFJ. I was shocked, because she isn't organised. First of all, she wakes up at 12 o'clock during the holiday and she isn't punctual. She wants to do projects as fast as she can, because she's lazy and doesn't care about details. Her room is untidy and she's too lazy to clean it up. Is it normal behaviour for ESFJ?

Probably not, but maybe she has things on her mind that's been distracting her daily routine.

How old is your friend? In my early 20's I was the messiest roommate ever in my tiny dorm room. I was so focused on school and going out and other stuff that I just didn't spend the time organizing my room. I also slept in forever and was a total social night owl... so I do think there's some maturing that happens as ESFJs get older. I think we can have a real wild streak when we're younger and be more spontaneous and adventurous when our external responsibilities are low.

She's quite young - 16 years old, so maybe you're right!

Maybe it's the influence of her environment - if her parents aren't tidy people or are not the kind to inculcate tidy habits in their children, then she might just grow up being messy.

I'm ISFJ and I think my natural preference is to be tidy and organized for sure. But.... I wasn't the tidiest person growing up because my parents were fairly easygoing about things (they were good parents, though). I was very untidy during my 20's and got pulled up on it at my first job. After seeing the examples of others, I 'learnt' to be more tidy and realized i quite enjoyed it... and I've been that way ever since.. So it can happen. I think I"ve always been failry organized, driven and detail-oriented, though.

I'm an ESFJ who isn't organized at all. I'd check her enneagram.
