    2. The fact that you will notice such minute details about people, including their appearance.

    3. When you tend to think "worst case scenario" at times...

    4. You seem to honestly care about people who you don't even know. You are generally interested in how they might be feeling.

    5. You seem to never get tired of being with people (especially FUN people) :)

    6. You will get super excited about being with FUN people, and then get home and are cranky because you still want to be with them.

    7. Will think about others more than themselves so much so that they will put yourself at potential risk for others if need be.

    8. When you are exhausted, but don't want to discontinue a conversation because you "just love to talk with people THAT much."

    9. When you point out the obvious.... :)
Wow! I just found out my Pastor is ESFJ. No wonder he is so good at his job, he was born to be a Pastor by the looks of it. Do all ESFJs have a great, witty, intelligent sense of humour or is that just him? He and I love joking together, he even throws in the odd sarcastic joke with me which I like.

This is so interesting to read!

i guess im a ESFJ but there seems so much negative talk about esfj-s I sometimes decline to be identified as one.. also, (me) being highly structured and pragmatic, there are some things about an ESFJ thats very impractical.. ..and being a very pragmatic person I most truly dont want to be operating in a inefficient / impractical manner.. ..so these are my thoughts.
then again, I cant really share (my thoughts) so much, can I,
I shall be labelled the-one-who-talked-too-much! And when i dont express myself, i'm called the Bimbo. does ANY other temperaments have to do as much balancing as I !!?? Am I the only ESFJ that feels growing up in a church was one of the biggest curses in my life!!? (people being so prone to / love (!) / liberal with criticism there..)

I don't understand the ESFJ hatred and it certainly doesn't apply to the one ESFJ I know IRL. She's the most beloved person I know....

You're an ESFJ, when your chat looks like this: "Bla bla bla ... Oh btw, did you hear from X [just a random guy we see a few times per week at work]? He didn't call me today. Actually he didn't write any emails since yesterday. He's not at work today. I asked the boss, she said he will come but he didn't. That's so not like him. I think something's wrong. I'll call him later. No, let's call him now."
And what is a fellow ISTP doing during this monologue - apart from thinking "Who the hell cares? The guy's not here. Dot." - ? I was redesigning in my mind the I'm-with-stupid t-shirt into a I'm-with-ESFJ one :D

But I agree with Linnifae. Both ESFJs I know are totally adorable and even though I cannot imagine how a person can be so interested in other people it's good that they exist. On your bad day, no-one will ever help you like an ESF.
