What type of gifts do ESFJ's want for the December holiday season?

So Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever holidays in December you guys celebrate is just around the corner and I wanted to know what type of gifts do ESFJ''s REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, want/desire/long for?

This might be a very valuable thread for those that have ESFJ family, friends, or any associates to get a little idea on what to get the ESFJ personality type for the holidays.

Any insights you contribute are very much appreciated!

Btw, I created similar threads in the other personality type forums.

It may sound obvious, but if she's female I'd give her something cute she could wear or use everyday (scarf, umbrella, mug, earrings, etc.). If he's a guy, then I have no idea, maybe an elegant or mug? If you don't know them too well, then I definitely won't go for books or CDs.
If you are close with this person it might get a bit more tricky - they'll expect you to know what they want. November is a good moment to ask them openly for some hints (but only if you two are close). They should understand it (well, I would).
Oh, and remember about some nice wrapping - they'll think that you really care (even if the present wasn't so good itself).

Honestly, think utility. As mentioned, if an item of clothing, it should be something you can expect to be worn on a fairly regular basis.

My sister hasn't actually tested but she's probably an ESFJ.

She'll appreciate anything really as long as it shows that you think about her and what her life must be like. With her, the thought really is what counts so you better make the thought better than the actual gift.

My sister needs a new coffee table at her appartment. She's way too busy to get one on her own so her gift from me this year is probably coming from Ikea. Nice and cheap but sturdy and presentable enough. Nothing too fancy as it will clash with the student budget decor of her dwelling space.

I prefer anything sentimental. Things with pictures are good because we're so attached to things we love. If they're a pet lover, ANYTHING to do with their animals is great. All you need is a picture and you can have anything from a bookmark to a blanket made. It's cutting it close, but you can go on the internet site Etsy and find and artist who will make a sketch, cartoon or painting out of a picture. ESFj are social people, so you can probably judge some of their favourite pictures just by creeping their facebook. Hope this helps!

ESFJ don't care what gifts, just anything that comes from your heart, but not perishable gifts.. :P Give something like CUte.. not teddy bear,, :P

I gave a teddy bear because, it just came out to me and he didn't seem to mind (I didn't really know what else to get and I did think it out... but, I feel the gift should reflect both the gift giver and receiver)... but I also gave a handmade card (calligraphy with a really nice note in it -- all made by myself... looked pretty good, I think), but the teddy bear was really traditional and high quality... it was really nice, I wanted to keep it, but I made sure to give it lots of hugs before letting it go and I gave it a nicer bow than the one they gave it. There were also chocolates as a surprise as a type I have found out by accident that he liked, so I included those as well... sentimental thing, I think. But, I feel the thought counts more than the gift, but I like to show a lot of thought in what I choose. :) Of course, the wrapping matched everything... to the gift down to the card as well. Sometimes I can be really detailed and pedantic in my choices. This wasn't for Christmas, but as a general "thanks" sort of thing, because they helped me that much I couldn't go without leaving something.

There was another thread talking about a similar thing, I think: https://personalitycafe.com/esfj-foru...eal-esfjs.html

This thread started as Christmas gifts, so hopefully it is useful to you. :)

I like getting food as a gift, especially artisan cheese and wild game trays.

Getting clothing for Christmas, although nice, is not my favorite thing to be honest... I always smile and say "thank you" and look excited, but I prefer to buy my own clothing.

Hobby supplies. Whatever they are in to. If you don't know what to get them, a gift card works wonders, especially if the card is hand made or has a special note in it. I don't know about other ESFJ's, but I love my private-time hobbies.
