    How often do you purchase new clothes?

    Or make new purchases at all besides groceries?

    @emberfly

    Great Question.

    Usually, there is some frustrated inner pang pushing its way from my core until it reaches my fingertips and throws them upon the keyboard to go SHOPPPINNGGGG. That's when I'm home and on the computer.

    Most times I'll be walking, probably to go eat somewhere and I'll chance upon a clothing store (Brooks Brothers is a personal favorite) and I'll just walk in and, like a movie cut scene, walk out up 1,000 bags and down 1,000 dollars.

    I like colorful clothing so it's mostly where my eyes take me.

    __

    Most new purchases require very little pre-meditation/planning and very much gluttony. The worst part is shopping because I'm sad or I feel an imminent void.

    I love these mini-surveys!

    1. I think it depends on the circumstances. With responsibility and getting of my ass to do things, I tend to idealize that things will fall into my hands, and that little work will bring very much, naturally, for I am lucky, as it were. Many of my thoughts are happy and realistic and positive, however I am often plagued by a dark pessimism of doubt. Generally, I stay open to ideas and hopeful, but among the three, I think my balanced self would be a positive realist with idealistic (good and bad extremist) flavor.

    2. One of me best mates is an INTP and he's great. I can really only speak towards this one, as most INTPs I know are in fictional shows. He's a good observer like I am, so we have a lot to say about anything, but he's more well read so he can better bring in new topics that I mostly recycle. We're both good at recycling and combining inside jokes and new contextual pieces. He's definitely smart and he has a withdrawn temperament, tending not to be overly involved in the world. He's also an enneagram 5, so as soon as he asserts himself and his own personal direction (may he find it) he'll be off to great innovations and whatnot.

    3. INFPs feel harder to crack, and for some reason, maybe I give off a superficial quality, they don't readily let me in. It's hard to talk to an INFP when he's donning a Te suit- being an FP myself, I recognize the Te flavor in the introverted counterparts. I find myself more emotionally open and expressive, and I guess it feels weird or disconcerting in some way to not get that reciprocated. I can't really say anything too negative, because outside of real life, most of my favorite authors are INFPs- or at least NFPs; I'm thinking of JD Sallinger, Albert Camus, Edgar Allan Poe. My inner life, and my dream world is much like that of an INFPs— so I imagine.

    4. I need to receive affirmation, affection, love, reassurance all the time, but I'll probably give in order to receive. I'm constantly thinking about love, and for me, the center of my universe is the person whom I love most. It can be torture, but it's also nice bathing in that, provided the currents are not turbulent :)

    5. That's a good question. Shiit. I suppose by the way I started answering, that... yes I do. But I think my emotional needs will never be stepped on, I will voice myself and what I need if I fear it won't be met. If vulnerability is the counter to my future safeguard, then yeah, I may hold back in fear of pushing someone away. Sometimes in that, I do curb my emotions. Usually I vocalize what I want, and do so quite happily.

    6. I hope my inner desires to be a poet, author, or an artist of some sort don't get drowned in the worried scramble to make enough money to start my own life in "the real world" I have to work to maintain.

    :)!

    I was wondering if that was the case. This ESFP I watch on YouTube is a shopaholic and makes haul videos about 2-3 times per week.

    Which makes me feel sick almost.

    Do you enjoy interacting with other ESFPs? What is your favourite type to interact with, do you think?

    @emberfly

    Can't really say. My better friends are INTP, ENFP, ESTJ, ENFP.... I think naturally I am attracted to other counter-phobic types or ExFPs. There are a lot of types I want to meet. I got along with a couple INTJs at school too, but the people I become closest to are extraverted Fi users, so ExTJ, ExFP I think.

    I seem to like ISFP girls though.

    I like to visit the thrift shop every other week or so in search of some hidden treasures but occasionally come out empty handed. I'll visit the shopping mall once in a blue moon though most things are too expensive unfortunately. I go to the bookstore every month to pick up something interesting to read.

    I try to steer away from shopping online. Ebay is a blackhole.

    Buying new clothes is just like the best experience, even better than most drugs. Oh my god can't even, I love clothes. I hate buying groceries but it's fun to go shopping and pick stuff out. I usually never take a list.

    1. First things first Im the realist
    2. They are so cute, they remind me of Abed, so polite and intellectual
    3. I am not a big fan, they are too openly and strongly opinionated, and not realistic at all, and just have a completely foreign outlook to mine
    4. It depends but probably give more
    5. Yes
    6. I really think xSFPs are the best personality types, they all inspire me so much, and we are generally great people to have in your life. People should not hate on us, and we are not unintelligent either.
