My brother has been smoking since he was somewhere in his teens and he's in his early 40s now. He wants to quit smoking but wants to do this by moving on to vaping. There is no data yet on the long term effects of vaping which makes him feel less guilty about it. I know he's well aware of the potential dangers there might be but since there is no official data yet it 'might not be bad at all' as he says. I can't force him not to do this but is there any way that I can get through to him and confront him with the fallacy of his own reasoning? Without being dictating about it in the disliked Fe way? It's still up to him in the end but I'd want to try at least...
