Not an ESTJ but I have one ESTJ friend who is into kinks.

Literally, if I am messaging/talking to him and tease him with the word "daddy," he will get all flustered and say things like "omg stopppppp." It's pretty adorable tbh.

One reason I think ESTJs can be quite kinky is Si relates the idea of kinks to being bad or taboo, making it sexy or wrong in a good way. Less concerned with the actual feel/atmosphere and more what the clothes/atmosphere represents and symbolize. :D Any type can be kinky imo~ :D

Any type can, of course :) Earlier I thought it's quite Ne thing (all the options and possibilities it adds to "plain" sexuality, right) but from what I know so far about couple of persons, Si people do see kinky side of sexuality quite differently than Ne types (though, just talking based on few persons I know, can't generalize).

I don't know yet any ESTJs closely who are into that topic but an ISTJ kinky guy I discussed recently is very much into different toys, accessories, clothes, materials and how they smell and feel, anything physical and real etc while I'm into that more at idea and illusion level which it creates (being excited about whole illusions and feelings created by whole kinky situation not focusing so much on separate parts, toys or accessories alone). Which on the other hand he couldn't understand very easily as it's different :)

Btw I personally don't believe much into that being responsible at work automatically leads to preferring sub roles and vice versa or any other stereotypes. Much of it is based on brain chemistry which acts like drugs practising such things - there is no cause-consequence chain in your life which makes you prefer definite roles :) Anybody could do whatever they want and like to do - important thing that matters is keeping open mind. It's based on many aspects - ie your teenage experiences, which porn you've watched at some point and just natural development via experiences and finding out what you like :) Many sub or bottom role persons are naturally submissive in their lives while others are not at all and so on :)

I'm a long time lurker, but decided to jump in and comment as I was chatting to my bf about this the other day. We are a 'stereotypical' S&M couple and very much involved in the community for the last 15 years. He is ISTP and a sub and I am ESTJ and a domme. Based on those I've met, I would agree there is more correlation with parenting styles than simply personality type. Although the dominant women do all seem to have both the extrovert and judging parts. The S and N can vary. The submissive men I know and have dated tended to have the introvert and thinking parts. But they also had dominant mothers/sisters/other female guardians growing up, so perhaps that helped to shape their personality traits?

I would be interested to know if any studies have been done on S&M and personality types.
