To be honest family income thresholds are already at their lower limits here, but they are probably going to cut more in taxes untill they compromise enough to avoid selling out everything (if thats even possible).
The future here is unclear and unpredictable enough for anyone to know exactly whats going to happen. But we ll probably know more untill the end of this year.
This might sound selfish, but i just hope to manage to get out of here before everything is in ruin.
Since we started this topic which has nothing to do with fun and laughter, tell me how much racism or disapproval have you seen towards my kind all this time you ve been traveling around. I just want an image regarding what im going to face.
My daughter looks completely greek. Her dad is greek. I do not think you will have any worries in the US. It is a diverse and eclectic for the most part. I think it just depends on where you settle.

Did you watch Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's very underrated movie? Far and Away or something like that. First movie that shaped my earliest view of America and Irish people.

And then there's Across the Universe. First movie wifey and I bonded over. Another classic.
Irish, French and Cherokee Indian here. : )
I think I have watched them all, I watched Eyes Wide Shut for sure lol

I dont get it but i ve watched a lot of English series/movies i guess. Maybe i like their performances a lot to the point i mimic something out of it. Well if you had heard me speaking something like that wouldnt have crossed your minds though.
I guess we get a bad name for this one too. In the past everyone would be proud to show where we are from (there is also some toxicity that makes us famous online), currently we are mostly trying to hide it

I have faced some minor racism that lefties call microaggressions, but they're nothing that bother me. In one ear out the other. Things just bounce right off me and I keep chugging along on my own path.

Eyes Wide Shut was so fucked up. I have to give it another proper rewatch. First time I was too enamored by Nicole Kidman's beauty. So pretty.

I hear that that movie had something to do with their eventual break up.

I think that is with anywhere unfortunately(racism). Close minded people are everywhere.

You just reminded me of the series Big Little Lies...Nicole Kidman has a banging body still! Not much you do not see in that show.

I always had a good impression of Greeks. Probably because I grew up idolizing Alexander as in my culture he's seen as a but of a hero for having made it all the way to India. He's also known for leaving behind many Greek soldiers who settled in North Pakistan and created the Kalash people (a tribe of pagans). This theory turned out to be false, but it created a unique connection between Pakistanis and Greeks. Even through a propogated myth.

Also knew a few in my Canadian high school. Decent guys. One Greek girl had a pretty big crush on me but neither of us did anything about it. I was too enamored with someone else at the time.
