    Ok, don't laugh...

I am an INFJ-INFP with the socionics test thingy. I am married happily to an INTJ but have been working on a poly relationship with this ESTP male.-who happens to be my husbands friend..lol... I completely fell in love with him. I've never met anyone like him before...but..I had to dump him the other day..It is very sad I already miss him so much. Just wondering if with this personality type are they more into BDSM the Dominance type stuff? I don't have a problem with that necessarily but he has used this to mask verbal abuse and then calls it being dominant. I know theres jerks in all personality types. Do ESTP's have a big problem with their temper-saying mean things they don't really mean? He normally is very nice to me..but a couple days ago started being really controlling told me to never talk to an xboyfriend of mine ever again that this guy just wanted to f*&& me.. Then when he asked me a question and i didn't answer it the way he wanted he asked me if I was F%^&ing stupid....this isn't normal behavior..but the entire day he attacked me repeatedly....Just trying to figure out why he acted like that...Is it possible he feels threatened by something? Did I do the right thing dumping him?

So you are in an open relationship?

ESTP are no more violent then any other type. To know why he is like that you need to study his motivations and that is related to Enneagram more then MBTI.

I know very many INFJ women who are into BDSM (submissive) but don't know any doms. I wouldn't think many ESTP would be into BDSM but who knows. I know I am terrible at role playing. Seems like such a judger thing.

Thanks for the reply..well we don't consider our marriage 'open' because we want to know who the other person is seeing, etc. My husband is not really interested in anyone else-he says..lol..Yeah, I am not a dom. ;) this guy was pretty equal with P/J

Well unfortunately P/J border makes a big difference. It is a complete opposite function set if he is an ESTP or ESTJ. Not similar at all.
    Fizz thanked this post.
