    Estp and estp match good?

I was just thinking, do you guys think this relationship could work? All my estp friends are extremely enjoyable and with two estps, how could we get bored so quickly?

Boredom wouldn't be the issue more than the fighting. At first things will probably be ok but once the competition phase starts the anger will follow soon after. Good sex though.

    ESTP - The Doers

I don't think I've ever met another ESTP in my life. However my best friend is an ISTP (same functions, different order, I think) and we're quite alike. We get along fine and she's always up for crazy spontanious activities. Also since she's an introvert, she's more like my sidekick and audience, which suits me just fine.

We're both really competitive but I don't see it as a problem. I think it's fun and while we're both incredibly stubborn, she's usually the first to back down.

I think the only other ESTP I met was my old boss, he was really cool. We got along pretty well. He cracked me up, whenever he had a one night stand, everybody knew. "Come on! Hurry up guys, I need to get home and shower!". And he usually talked about how he was so happy he was unmarried, and didn't have a girlfriend. So other than him, I havent met any other ESTPs. We're quite infectious, and likable people.

According to two sources on MBTI and relationship statistics that I've read two xSTPs together report some of the lowest scores in relationship satisfaction. Probably because neither xSTP partner can care about the other partner's feelings much, so then the bonding between the two xSTPs doesn't go so smoothly. But keep in mind this is just statistics. Each relationship is an individual case that may fall way out in the outlier area.

not certain about type (seems mostly likely xSTx somewhere, probably xSTP as these are currently my most common test scores).

last time I met someone much like myself, I talked with them for a while, noted that there was a lot in common, ...
then it seemed like, in a mutual sense, there was not any real "interest". ended up not talking to her for a few months or so (mostly more distracted/busy with stuff I was working on), ...

(add, she was more ESxP on tests, IIRC, also had some basic interest in but not a whole lot of experience with programming).

yeah, that didn't exactly go anywhere...
(granted, in general my interactions with females tend to go nowhere...).

According to mypersonality.info ESTPs are 10% of the population, so I'm sure you've met others but didn't know their type.

We're both really competitive but I don't see it as a problem.
Competitive in what sense? Ambitious? Proving yourself? Sports? Getting your way? Reaching your potential?

It could be. It depends on the individual mostly. You don't know if it'll work out until you try.

Personally, a lot of male ESTPs I met I don't really like nor care about, mostly because they're all about themselves, and I don't like that that attention isn't all on me! -_-

Jk, but a good number of them annoy me for being way too cocky and dickish. I've met a lot of nicer ESTPs also, but maybe I just see them as friends. :/

That's why you need a cocky INFP.
