    Grassland Nights setup

    Mafia chat: Day only
    Numbers: 8 town, 3 mafia
    Wincons: Mafia win at parity. Town win when mafia is eliminated.

     


    This game will consist of 2 phases: Night and Day.

    During the Day Phase, you will spend your time in the thread, nominating players to send to the beach QT. You may vote for as many players as you like. However, once a vote has been placed, it cannot be removed. The person with the highest number of votes will be sent outside to the beach. If there is a tie, the person who received the most votes first will be sent. The second person to be sent to the beach will be whoever has the fewest number of votes. If there is a tie, whoever has the fewest posts will be sent. Finally, the third person to be sent to the beach will be decided by the trickster spirits. They may choose to nominate themselves. Once the day has concluded, there will be a 15-30 minute break as I set up the QTs. The 3 will be announced along with how they were chosen and sent to a private QT. Those not chosen will be sent to the kitchen/dining room QT for drinks and decision making.


    During the Night Phase, the 3 on the beach will be able to communicate in their shared group QT. Those in the kitchen QT will be selecting one of those 3 beach players. Whoever they select will choose which of the other 2 are kicked out by selecting them in their individual QTs. If no selection has been made, the player the kitchen has chosen will be removed instead. When signing up, please mention sunglasses as proof that you have read the setup. They must have the selection posted in their individual QTs before the night phase has ended, not when they are chosen. Like during the day, kitchen players may vote for each player once, but after a vote has been cast it cannot be removed. When night has ended, the remaining two players will return to the thread where they will greet the others.

    What happens to an eliminated player depends on their alignment. While a trickster spirit will be sent to the graveyard where they may watch on with spectators, those who are human will be sent to a holding cell to await their fate. If at the end of the game there are 2 humans and 1 spirit, those players will all be sent to the beach. In this case, the humans who have been eliminated will vote on who they think is human. Of course, if a correct selection occurs, this does not mean an automatic win. That human must also have the spirit as their chosen elimination. If not, the spirits win.


    To my knowledge it's been run twice on PerC and once offsite with PerC players with town winning 2/3. I'm aware of one more offsite run where town also won. Not sure if the setup is actually townsided or it's just worked out that way.

    lol at answering my own review thread.

    Setup is too townsided as is. New version will add two townies and give mafia night chat and an NK, which must be from among the people not at the beach/grasslands.
