Anyone interested in just... talking? :D

Sometimes I find it's far too easy to get lost in the world, in work, in routine ... blah blah blah... in things that just suck the fun and all the enjoyment out of life.

For example, how often do you crave having an interesting conversation or just talking for the sake of talking - only to find that there are very few people out there who want to do exactly that. That the sad truth is that a lot of people have their own motives and only want to talk when there's something that they need or something that they want from you. It might even be that they don't want to talk to you because of appearance - that they think they know everything about you because you look a certain way or are dressed in certain clothes...

Despite the sour tone above, and the miniature rant about society and prejudice, I JUST WANT TO FREAKING TALK. Replies to this post / visitor message / private message / carrier pigeons are just some extremely viable ways of doing so.

    :D.

Too true, reminds me of a book I'm currently reading by Colin Wilson called 'The Outsider'. Even though it was written in 1956, sadly some of the same issues of personality depth versus social wants and needs are still so prevalent, when quality of discussion so often fails to align with quantity shared in informal alcohol or education settings as was once the norm; when an education (or 'gentrified' standards of courtesy and mutual respect) mean't having to earn ones social standing not expect it like many do now.
(What can I say small talk without emotional bonding or similarities shared bores me, when a sharp mind means not 'dulling oneself down to the masses' and working toward individuation surpassing social norms at a potential cost)

If anyone wishes to truly chat, the vaults of enthusiasm are always open (also known as PM boxes or VM or maybe even MSN in time:)

I'd like to talk with ya!
Hmm, videogames... yep, lots of them. Minecraft, Assassin's Creed series, Portal series, Gothic I and II, The Elder Scrolls, Prototype, League of Legends. Oh, and Mirror's Edge, but that one doesn't want to work and I am too lazy to fix it.
Also there is Postal 2 and Alice: Madness Returns, if you'd like to talk about something bloody. Yah, only bloody, not bloody briliant or bloody brutal (however bloody brutal can be one of ways to describe those two).

Kami Gaben: What do you mean by some kind of chat? An instant messenger kind of thing? I'm not sure how well that would work because of time zone differences and stuff :/

StElmosDream: There are a lot of big words you used there but luckily I get the jist of what you're saying...

On the other hand I also think acting in accord with the 'masses' and sliding into social norms is fine by me, and comes with its own merrits, so long as you don't lose yourself in the process. At the other extreme I find myself getting annoyed at people who shun social norms and practises simply to be different! Ignorance is bliss, right? A balance needs to be struck for anything to work, and that's no exception here.

Excited for Assassin's Creed 3? Excited is too weak to express my feelings about it coming out! It's gonna be awesome!

All time favourite video game? Whoah, I am not sure right now. Well, it'd be either one of Assassin's Creed, Portal II or Minecraft. Probably Minecraft, there you can do whatever you want, and so you can recreate things like Assassin's Creed or Portal II (or even combine them :D).

Online games... hmm, I used to play lots of them, now it's not what it used to be. I used to play for example Runescape, WoW on private server, Diablo 3 with trial-thingy card (still haven't killed skeleton king and I don't need to), tried out Aion and sometimes I visit cracked Minecraft servers.
Yep, I haven't bought it yet, but I tried. It was acting weird, it didn't want me to buy it (and I attemped to buy gift code back when it was only 15 €, now it is 20 :/). I definetly want to buy it but I don't know which cards are accepted. And I need to wait some time (less than year) to be 18 and have my own card or PayPal account to do so myself.

    How about you? :)

well some chat maybe Skype or a MSN in a group xD that helps kinda go this fast because just chatting I don't think this is the right place for a thread like this xD.

Anyway Videogames... a lot of them xD AC, Minecraft, Fighters, MMOs, LoL XD and some much more
