    3D printed Vegan meat, thoughts?

I’ve been seeing companies that have started developing 3D printed “meats” made from vegan ingredients such as rice, peas, seaweed etc. claiming it tastes identical to real meat.

I’m an omnivore. I know about 3 people who are vegan whom I’ve talked to about this, generally i get a negative response concerning this issue (ethical reasons). I for one am open minded about this, i would try it if given the chance.

What do you think about this? As a vegan, Do you embrace this growing trend? Would you try it? If you happened to like it, would you incorporate it into your diet (if it was accessible to the public)?

Are you repulsed or intrigued by the idea?

until they solve the amino acid deficiencies and the aids wasting syndrome vegans get, i'm not having it.

    Wow! That's really creative!

If they can add in the flavor of heme, it would pass pretty good as meat. You could line the fibers of a "steak" to be like actual steak fibers. Or you could form it into shapes that real meat wouldn't be able to make. Like a "meat" doily! I would give it a try!
