Why would/did you leave a Church of Christ? At what age did you leave/switch?

Hi all, I am working to collect some data for a project of mine and I was hoping to get some input. If you left a Church of Christ, what drove you to do so? Is there anything they could have changed to help you stay? If you haven't, what would make you leave/switch? Age helps as well, if you could include that.

What's a 'Church of Christ', is that like some kind of Evangelical denomination or something?

I would define Churches of Christ (not to be confused with the United Church of Christ which is pretty different) as protestants who solely follow the Bible's teaching. They believe in the Trinity (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). They are generally more conservative and tend to use acapella music, either due to beliefs or preferences. They take communion regularly and believe in immersion baptism (as opposed to sprinkling or baptizing babies). Churches of Christ are autonomous, but generally interact and connect with other churches due to shared beliefs. Each church is governed by a group of elected leaders generally called "elders." Leaders are generally men, but more churches are opening up to woman serving in the church. They also believe that the people are the "church" and the building is just a building. Does that help? Anyone who wants to add to this explanation is welcome.
