When did Millennial Culture End/Gen Z Culture Start?

To be honest, I'm not sure if Millennial culture even ended yet but I want to hear when you guys think it did.

I actually think the 2017-2018 school year is the first pure generation Z school year culturally. I would say Generation Z culture was in full swing shortly after the Parkland Shooting, because I believe that was the first event that true Generation Z members (2000's babies) started making more of an impact, especially with the March for our lives. The first school year that was more Gen Z than Millennial IMO was the 2015-2016 school year, as that was when trends like dabbing and Pokemon GO were at their peak. The 2014-2015 school year seemed like the perfect mixture of millennial and Gen Z culture IMO.

I thought that was originally a Millennial thing...

And I agree with @Rainbowz . This is probably the first year where the Generation Z demographic is actually being heard and not just spoken for.

I personally think millennials are the ones reading the Buzzfeed articles that sound something like, "If you are in your 20s and single, you have to see these pairs of slippers" as they drink Rosé and complain about who ruined the economy. I think it was the era that thought it was cool to look hipster-different and popularized the manbun and half-sleeve tattoos and edgy unknown coffee shops... I think Gen Z culture started the second 12 year olds started looking old enough to get into clubs without having an ID check.

I think i will list it like this or it will look like this as i used 16 years old as the one's cultural zeitgeist or utmost peak age for teen culture or peak of your teen times and culture

1982-2000(Late 1998 to Mid 2017 are Millennials's teen culture like Dabbing and Pokemon Go.However,i still think Pokemon Go and Dabbing are leaning more towards Millennials instead of Gen Z but anywhere,it is not that important.Never have I ever played Pokemon Go before. However,i have seen a number of people playing Pokemon Go)-Pokemon Go,Dabbing and etcs including Dreamcast,PS2-PS4 and the rise of gen z culture such as Nintendo Switch
