Guess the type just based on the lyrics

Ok, so I know my type (or I think I do), but I'm just kind of curious, if you didn't know anything about me and heard my lyrics, what type would you imagine me to be? Here's the link: https://legendsghost.bandcamp.com/releases. If you hover over each of the songs, there's a link to the lyrics.

I think it would also be interesting if people posted other indie artist's lyrics so we could try typing them.

Hey. I'm very interested to listen to your work - and I'll happily post a type. Just wish to complete an assignment first.

Having a band like Nightwish in your signature doesn't deter me from INFP one bit, though. I can tell you that now

Definitely strikes me as an NF of some kind, likely dominant feeling. Seems very removed from the physical world; I am leaning towards strong Ne in these lyrics. INFP is a good call, but I could consider xNFJ.

By the way, this is a very interesting album. I'm only on the first track right now, but I like what I'm hearing :)

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I like to think of my lyrics as a great example of Se-Ni.

    Mausoleum

    ———————

This is the place that I call home.
This is the place where I always lived.
And where, for some time, I shall remain.

This little home’s in need of guests,
The inmates ready to lay to rest,
These weak folk, they all wait for sleep,
Frightened each day, they wait to weep.

This tomb is cold and brings no heat,
So all will fall, no hearts shall beat,
The only warmth from ancient files,
Back from those days of life and smiles.

Why don’t you join me in this mausoleum?
Why not meet each of my drunken delusions?

This tomb is kind and brings me peace,
So I will rest; I’ve found retreat,
But my distance; miles shan’t comprehend,
And it’s on this place I shall depend.

There is no will here, it’s pure escape,
We’re separated only by a curtain drape,
I don’t care for wonders; I’m quite happy here,
Why don’t I play in a dance with fear?

    All on Them
    ———————

They are the ones we’ve seen before,
They are the ones we’ve known before,
    On them,
    It’s all on them.

All that we’ve seen was known before,
All that we’ve seen was there before,
    All we’ve seen,
    All that we’ve seen.

The tower topples, the tower glides,
The kite continues to fly away from us,
    Away from us.

Our signs are webbed, and the writing’s worn,
Our signs are broken, and no one mourns them now,
    No one mourns them.

I passed an alleyway formed by trees,
Each one seemed weary without its leaves, they were gone,
    Withered and gone.

    Wanderer
    ——————

Where the sun has been setting,
    The night roads I walk,
    Sheltered from other’s bearings,
    I travel alone.

If a friend shall walk with me,
    Guests I can’t decline,
But the end steps are taken,
    By none but my heart.

These night roads won’t be ending,
For a short while or more,
So I’ll sleep in the sun’s light,
    ‘til the night stands before.

    Assisted Life
    ———————

    Do we need,
    Assisted life,
    Do we need,
    Assisted life?

    Would we survive,
    All on our own,
    Would we survive,
    All on our own?

    You wouldn’t need,
    A friend to call,
    You wouldn’t need,
    A friend to call.

Voices of the Temple (inspired by Donkey Kong Country)
    ——————————————————————————

    Hear the voices,
    Of the temples around,
Feel the spirits breathe upon you,
    Call you…
    Seal your eyes,
    Relax your body and soul,
Hear the voices of the temple,

    Envise…

    The guardian stands,
    In your dream before you,
Enticed you are but frightened of him…
    His gaze is fierce…
    He plays this song,
Atop the throne of his days,
Sheltered deep within these jungles; this great maze…

    Hear me…

    “Why do you?
    Linger here in the past,
What could there still be here for you…
    All is gone.
    Look at all,
    Of these ruins around,
What do you want of this wasteland? There’s only doom.”

    Exit
    ——

She claims me in a cold embrace,
The storm dances and her breasts are, like her embrace, cold,
We lie for a little while… I think of running away…
    But I want to stay…

The mountains are foggy, and dusk has departed,
She’s frightened, I hold her tight,
The cold sept into her bruise, that much I can feel.

I lie down, weakened; myself bruised by the day.
She lays asleep now, her enchanted, innocent body,
Her hair sways with the sky’s stormy swirls,
    Her lips, they beckon me…

    The Wallower of Wounds
    ———————————-

His lies I’ve heard, too many times,
No more can I forgive his crimes,
He fell away to darkest depths,
A man of honour, now laid to rest.

No longer a hero, shall he be known,
His whimpering echoes, as he trembles alone,
And wonders where to go now,
What men will take his false vows?

The castle he had claimed before,
Through stones and walls the deceived tore,
    Revenge they now swore,
    A solemn vow they bore.

So now the deceived man sings alone,
A drunken fool on an empty throne,
    Into the shadows,
    Empty and hallowed.

    Death’s Vibrant Chant
    ——————————

My ventures take me to a realm of death,
    Where all shall fall,
    None know it all.

Yet I must walk this murderous ground,
Embrace the thirst, and feel my dreams,
    I must survive,
    Nothing more.

This land is godless, too fearsome for law,
The naked sun wages war on his turf,
    And when he leaves,
    To night I’ll freeze.

I am alone now, and I’ve no regrets,
This is my adventure; my ultimate quest,
    To prove my worth,
    Greet savage Earth.

    Inside of Me

    —————

    All I see, lies inside,
    Locking me, inside my mind.
The golden stream, the rainbow road,
All in my dream, my mind's abode.

No longer here, I've nought to fear,
    My mind departs, transition starts,
The seventh phase, my path to sleep,
Visions in my daze, now real to me.

    Afterlife
    ————

    A tunnel of darkness,
    I’m floating through,
    A light ahead of me,
    Or should I turn back?

    The choice before me,
    Is this light truth?
    Is my faith being tested?
    Am I being tricked?

    I’m moving to the light,
    I’m saying goodbye,
I’ll never see the place I’ve come from again,

    I have repented,
For the bad deeds I’ve done,
    For should I be damned,
    Eternal suffering.

    I could be judged forever,
    Yet I’d still be scared,
    The moment of truth,
Will I like what I hear?

    I can only wait now,
    I know too well,
I’m in the angel’s hands now,
    The servants of God.

Do I want this wait to end?
Do I never want judgement’s call?
    Or will I be risen?
    To the heavens above.

    I wonder how the angels,
    Justify their call,
    And did they ever regret,
    A judgment they’d made?

Are the folks left in suffering,
    Rotten to the core?
And are all men in heaven,
    Pure to the bone?

    The angels call me,
    Heavy steps I take,
    All of my own life,
    Has brought me a place.

    A ship comes for me,
    Across these seas,
    Where am I being taken?
    I stumble aboard.

    Unknown Personality

ISFJ?? I get very FJ feelings from it, I don't know?

    What about these lyrics:

There's a harvest each saturday night
At the bars filled with perfume and hitching a ride
A place you can stand for one night and get gone
It's clear this conversation ain't' doing a thing
Cause these boys only listen to me when i sing
And i don't feel like singing tonight
    All the same songs

Here in these deep city lights
    Girl could get lost tonight
I'm finding every reason to be gone
Nothing here to hold on to
    Could i hold you?

    The situation's always the same
You got your wolves in their clothes whispering Hollywood's name
Stealing gold from the silver they see
    But it's not me

Here in these deep city lights
    Girl could get lost tonight
I'm finding every reason to be gone
There's nothing here to hold on to
    Could i hold you?

Calling out somebody save me i feel like i'm fading away
    Am i gone?
Calling out somebody save me i feel like i'm fading

    In these deep city lights
    Girl could get lost tonight
I'm finding every reason to be gone
There's nothing here to hold on to
Could i hold on to you?

Fi is definitely apparent, so is Pe - likely Ne. It seems Pe-dominant overall with its focus on experiences - ENFP doesn't seem wrong at all.
