This is a discussion on South Korean Entertainers aka K-Pop! (Musical Artists/Groups/Comedians) within the Guess the type forums, part of the What's my personality type? category; About T.O.P.... I think he's INFP or ISFP. He comes off as super mysterious and silent but if you see ...

About T.O.P.... I think he's INFP or ISFP. He comes off as super mysterious and silent but if you see his backstage moments and his jokes he is literally crazy xD Also he admitted on Strong Heart that he is very, very mischievous and he doesn't know why people think he's so serious.

I think he tries very hard to keep the spontaneity suppressed but he's started letting it out more these days because he's coming to know that people like it.

Definitely Fi somewhere there, he has very strong ideals and it's always all about him. In his interview he and GD were asked what they'd do if GD&TOP were nominated against Seungri for some award.
GD: In that case, I think Seungri should win...
TOP: No, Seungri can win later. It's two against one and we should win.

The spontaneity is either Ne or Se. Likelier Se. He acts like a 5 year old. He even goes on slides for kids and you should see his face while on a rollercoaster.
He got an iPad and he posted pictures of himself using Photo Booth, lol. He's crazy and doesn't care much.

Not ISTP because the Fi is so overwhelming (and the Ti nonexistent), you should see him when his words are disagreed with or when he's offended. He puts up a nice face, but he's angry, really angry.

A lot of Korean bloggers peg him as an XSFJ. One ESFJ poster apparently pushes for Yoo being an Introvert: the man is supposedly a total homebody, has confessed to having mild stage fright, and gets awkward and shy in unfamiliar situations. He's widely regarded by others as being 'modest, warm, considerate, well-mannered and shy.'

I'd say you're onto something there. Sensors statistically outnumber Intuitives in Korea like elsewhere in the world. The largest MBTI test supplier in the country (Korean Psychology Testing Institute) released this material upon tallying the results of 102,989 test takers:

HOLY that's a lot of sensors.. so much Si...

..perhaps is that why a reason why the korean schooling system is so rigorous and systematic? There's so much emphasis on doing well in school and not too much on creativity (not saying that there aren't any creative people).
    Honestly I don't know it's just a thought xD

TBH I was also taken aback by the humongous S/N percentage difference. I cited this survey simply because it has the largest sample number to date, but would personally take the figures with a grain of salt.

I suspect a sample bias. The test is most frequently administered in corporate workshops followed by universities here; there may have been an over-representation of certain types, or even respondents who might've wanted to be seen as those types.

You have to understand that fostering creativity in education is a luxury afforded by developed nations. Economic prosperity in the region has been a relatively recent phenomenon.

Geographically speaking East Asia has always been a crap place to find oneself in - a lot of countries made do with small land masses and not enough natural resources to support their populations. Colonization and wartime poverty in the first half of the twentieth century kicked up collective survival instincts everywhere. The latter half of the century saw that exporting technological/academic expertise was the road to reconstruction and economic success.

Confucian educational values traditionally emphasized upward social mobility. Recent historical experiences reinforced the notion that education equals success, and desperate parents pushed their kids to survive. The mindless cutthroat school system is a leftover product from the past and has less to do with any lack of NF's and NT's IMO.

Sorry for the derail and the rant... I post this as an apology. I have no idea what their types are, but I liked the song.

Anyways enough rambling :P, I just wanted to throw out some of my attempts at typing... ill try to only do ones im fairly confident in:

    Big Bang
    Taeyang: ISxP
    TOP: ISTP
    Seungri: ESxP
    Daesung: ExFP
    GD: ISTP

    2pm:

I would have to disagree with these.

    Big Bang:
Taeyang: INFJ -There is no way that this man is a P or S.
TOP: ISTP - I agree with this one. He is also 4D so he makes it harder to type.
    Seungri: ESFP
Daesung: ISFJ - Pretty sure about this one.
    GD: ENTJ

    2PM:
    Wooyoung: ISFJ
    Taecyeon: ENTP
    Chansung: INFP
    Junsu: ENFP

    Others:
    Rain: ISFJ
    G.O: ISTJ

Came here to ask the same thing. Idk, I have been a fan for a long time so I guess I could try. Not that familiar with the new members yet though, I am including Hwayoung with the new members because I still don't think I have watched her enough to judge what type she is, but I think she is an extroverted. Maybe an ESFX

    Jiyeon: INFJ
    Eunjung: ENFJ
    Hyomin: ESFP
    Ori: ISTP
    Soyeon: ESTJ
    Boram: ISFJ

Well I was torn between ENFP and ESFP for her, but in the end I felt that ESFP fitted her more. I never really got around to watch IY, I think I only watched 3 or 4 episodes on youtube and then it got deleted or something and I never went back and watched them.

I am not sure either. Maybe some other people can weigh in on whether she is an ENFP or ESFP.
