Anyone ever experience tingling in one hand

So, I have some occasional tingling specifically in my left hand, been going on for about 6 weeks. Background is, my left rotator cuff was slightly torn about 8 years ago, then my left bicep was slightly torn 4 years ago. Physical therapied both of those back to health. The tingling in my hand is the same feeling I'd get traveling all the way down from my bicep when I'd try to use it when it was injured.

Thing is bicep is 100%. I'm lifting the same weight I used to and never feel anything there.

I have over the last year been sleeping on my stomach more than ever in my life(enjoy the feeling, plus seem to have more vivid dreams this way) which means I'm sleeping on my arm different than ever.

I'm gonna try sleeping less on my stomach and give it about three weeks to subside, then may go see a doctor to find out about nerve damage if it keeps up.

In the meantime anybody got any therapy hints to help with this?

Thanks.

I'm not an expert but I have neck & back issues that generate such sensations some times, especially when at their worst & I may also get numb. In my case it was really terrible muscle tension pushing on the nerve, which actually travels down from the spine, to the trapezius then up to the shoulder and down the arm, as several experts told me. I may have some issues on the neck from bad posture, but I haven't done imaging. Building a stronger back seems to be helping me a lot and also stretching, but when I first started exercising I made things a lot worse. So maybe doing something at the gym that gets your back more sore than usual or something like that, or maybe you've been doing something wrong and it's catching up. Also sleeping on the stomach is the worst for neck, so def try stopping that. Sleeping without a pillow has been great for me btw.

Thanks. Yeah, I have a flatter pillow(hard to find). I've never liked to have my head jacked up in the air. As you say, it's bad for your neck to have it propped like that, as any alignment doctor will tell you. Definitely going to stop sleeping on stomach for a while.

One thing I didn't think about is I've had this weird bone spur like growth coming out of the side of my pointer finger for several years. It's stayed the same size and has not pained me unless I push strongly on it. Think I dislocated it years ago and put it back myself, but maybe some calcium buildup. Perhaps just a coincidence.

My body is definitely getting it's wear and tear, but it's not like there was going to be any "trade-in value". LOL.

Is it a pleasant tingling or unpleasant?
Unpleasant I would say. It is not quite numbing, and at its worse there may be slight pain. Slight pain is such a hard thing to note in comparison to discomfort. But it is only on occasion, a few times a day.

Edit: can you shake it off, like water from your hand?
I never tried to shake it. I usually start squeezing my hand into a fist repeatedly, like would to speed along donating blood, and it appears to go away at that. But it usually goes away fairly quickly afterall anyway. It never seems to last more than a minute, if even that. Matter of fact today I only felt the slightest twinge of it a couple times.
