    Workout music/playlists.

Share some music you like to workout to, or the whole playlist(s).

(I get bored with mine because I have to hear an hour and a half of it most days of the week so I'm always looking to change it up.)

(If theres already a thread on this - my bad, but I didn't see it..)

    Depending on the activity:

Hiking/Kayaking: Nox Arcana is my go-to. Hiked over the weekend and listened to the Darklore Manor and Winter's Knight albums.
Running/Strength: Hard and fast. Mudvayne, Slipknot, RATM, Rob Zombie, Slayer, Motorhead.

While warming up for lifting sessions as well as doing cardio I usually listen to whatever has a good and consistent beat, which usually includes electronica (Pretty Lights, Imagine Dragons, etc) , dubstep (Marc Instinct, Skrillex, etc), and alternative (Arcade Fire, Alexisonfire)

Normally on my working sets I stop whatever I'm listening to and focus all my energy on making sure I get the lifts done with good form.

Haha Gary Glitter- Rock n Roll Part II, the song that's played at all hockey games. Since hockey is aggressive it reminds me of being badass.

For crushing those weights, I opt for hard, tough, mid-tempo fare.

Cardio... you'd be hard-pressed to do better than trance or darkwave; the bottom-heavier, the better.

I tend not to listen to music. It might have something to do with my detachment from pain and music distracts me from the process of beyond failure training and paying attention to how much or how little I'm able to push beyond my psychological limits.

I used to have a weight bench in my bedroom to lift and basically almost every time I'd lift when I was like 12-15 (I started lifting at school after I got my driver's license), I crank to Van Halen's Greatest Hits.
