I wonder if I am INTJ or INFJ (or even INTP).

The closest approach seems to be INFJ.
So to me, it is a "Thinking" vs. "Feeling" question.

To me, thinking and feeling often blur together or mean the same. For example, I often think about polyhedra and polytopes. But then I tend to imagine fictional polytopes, say with a Schläfli symbol {5,3,3,3}. In reality, the cell {5,3,3} has a dihedral angle of 144°, which means it is not physically possible.

But in my imagination, every {5,3,3,3,3,3,3,...} is a polytope, not a hyperbolic noncompact honeycomb.

So I can simultaneously think of a concept, and feel it at the same time. To me it seems like my feeling fills up the world in case reality is too boring. But also it can be the "Perception" instead of "Judging" because I am also very empathetic and loving, however this seems to be an INFJ trait. It could be the perception of a fantasy world.

    In general, I am confused.

Well your post got me confused too. I'm sure someone will tell you to go study about cognitive functions instead of using dichotomy because it is too biased and based on stereotypes for example: "feelers" do this and "thinkers" do that.

Someone also could say that you're very empathetic and loving because you're a woman. On average men and women are very similar but they are much different on the extremes of the bell curve when looking at personality traits. I would say that you feel more like INTP but hard to tell from that tiny post.

I'm more of a hexagon guy myself.

No, because you did numbers. Kidding. But I am confused now.

You somewhat seem like you don't recognize the difference between logic (thinking) and emotional processing / morality (feeling)?

    INTP

Thinking types possess empathy and love. However sharing those emotions or getting involved with other people's feelings is something else entirely.

If someone around you (let's say a total stranger) is angry and comes to you to vent, do you react by fulfilling their emotional need (to have their anger validated/to be heard)? What do you do? Do you sympathize and listen? Do you react with anger at them for bothering you? Do you try to make yourself unavailable?

Typically, on this forum (and others) if someone's questioning whether they are INTJ or INFJ... they're not INTJ.

Anecdotal, of course, but... that's been my experience.

Some say it is always biological gender first personality type later, but nowadays saying this could easily trigger people.
