    Favourite TV Shows

This might have already been asked, but I'm curious as to what my follow INFJ's are watching on the ol' boob tube. :D

My favourites are: Anthony Bourdain's: No Reservations
    Law & Order CI
    Star Trek: TNG

No much at the moment, just mostly films. But I like star trek, stargate, ghost whisperer and sometimes a bit of the mentalist and really liked the now axed sarah connor chronicles. I really enjoyed the winter olympics and i like challenge based gameshows like crystal maze, takeshi's castle and fort boyard.

    Prison break
    Criminal minds
    How I met your mother

I liked Heroes at first, but the last couple seasons weren't so good... Right now there's this show in my country called 'Coming to Holland'. It's absolutely hilarious! It is like the movie Coming to America, but for real. And to Holland instead. Three princes come live here in Amsterdam and look for a girlfriend/wife while being undercover. There's an Indian, Italian and Samoan prince. They also have a daytime job here (working at a supermarket, jobs like that), which is funny because especially the Indian prince hasn't done any physical labor in his whole life. He'd just supervise as his servants did the work. The combination of culture clash and moving way down in social status at the same time really makes for a great show. Normally I don't like any sort of reality show, but this one is awesome.

I enjoyed them too, but when Sven Kramer (speed skating, kind of the Dutch national sport) made that lane change error which caused him to lose the gold medal... I was pretty upset about that. Partly because of my national pride, and partly because knowing how he and his coach must've felt made me feel awful too.

Hmm, years and years ago I used to enjoy Star Trek, especially TNG and DS9 (the latter of which appears not to be too popular, but I actually liked the political aspects of it ).

Actually I only got my own TV set since a week or so, after spending almost four years without one. All time favourite is Top Gear (I chose my TV provider based on whether they would offer BBC2 or not ), recently I've found watching british detectives (a touch of Frost, Midsomer murders) a nice way to socialise with my mum, but I think I prefer german detectives to british ones if I had to choose. Generally speaking I do not really enjoy television series though, too shallow, too cliched, too sensation-oriented, too vulgar... luckily there are exceptions .

Hm, furthermore I'm in the two week preview period (i.e. all channels for free) and I'm seeing whether I find Discovery HD, National Geographic Channel HD and History HD enjoyable enough to warrant an additional small monthly fee. But perhaps I'd be better off spending my cash on a blue ray player and the Planet Earth box set instead, though...

Hmm, It appears that there is no genre that is specific to INFJs. I kind of like that :P I mostly watch sciency shows and cooking shows. :P

Doctor Who - introduced to it during the Eccleston/Tennant era, though slowly checking out the 'classic' Who.
NCIS - Agent Gibbs shares my last name and I'm always like "YEAH KICK THEIR ASSES GIBBS"

A couple years back I was into reality television and adult swim, but I think since I started going to college I realized how much I enjoy learning about a lot of different things. Once I was a few semesters in to transitioning with being a full-time student, it became more important to me to dedicate more of my time to learning since it's more relevant at this point in my life as a student. Whereas before I had all this free time to watch mindless shows. But now I get incredibly bored by most shows if I'm not learning anything.

The Discovery Channel is host for most of my favorite shows. Really anything on there does it for me. I love Man vs. Wild and Survivorman. Also, I'm trying to get more involved with politics. So yeah, I'm becoming the old man I hoped I never would and am watching CNN for entertainment. xD Good times.
