I always lived in a big city, I am used to the noises, it is not a problem for me (sometimes it is) but I can't stand all the people walking on the street, it makes me nervous and give me anxiety attacks. Everyday I am older I want to move out to a quit place with the sound of nature.

Actually a bit of both. A permanent residence in the outskirts/quiet areas of a city would be really nice

I've experienced both I guess. There are pros and cons that come with both. When you live father away from the city, it seems like we (my husband and I) value it more whenever we actually go some where in the city. Where as here - we live so darn close to everything. So many malls, stores and restaurants within five minutes. It starts to mean less sometimes. But is it convenient and stimulating? Yes. I also just like being out in nature and I enjoy the quiet but I also like being around people. However, it depends what the people are like. I'm not a fan of snobby neighbors. I don't like living THAT close to each other because of that. I feel like people get annoyed at us for the stupidest things.

I've lived in a big city all my life and I just moved out this year to a smaller city. It's less stressing, there are less people in the streets, it is relaxing for someone like me who hates crowds. It was one of the reasons why I moved out actually.

But I couldn't live somewhere I'd need to take the car for each errand I need to run though.

I love the city. I've grown up in one all my life. I love people watching and well, I don't drive so I constantly rely on public transportation. There is so much to do in the city -- I guess I am not a nature person. NYC<3

    The country is too quiet.
    The city is too loud.
I want to live in-between the two.
