So, I checked out the Wikipedia article on INFJ's for the first time this morning, and saw they had up a picture of some guy's tattoo (INFJ in big letters, and phrases in cuniform and latin) as an example of "INFJ tendency for abstract expression".

It was really odd to discover, as I personally have a tattoo; a latin phrase around the alchemal symbol for water; and it was like my tattoo was described to me by wikipedia

So I'm curious if there are others inked here, and how?

God that's too cool. I've always wanted a tattoo, but have never had the courage to get one

I also don't know what I would get a tattoo of. Something in Latin sounds awesome. Maybe just the word "Poetry" for me.

As a water sign, I think that's too cool that you have an alchemical symbol for water as a tattoo

A friend of mine once dated a guy who had a favourite line of poetry tattooed around his forearm. I thought that was pretty cool.

I've wanted a tattoo since I was about five, believe it or not. The one I have now was a birthday gift a few years ago from a friend who had a bunch himself and liked pulling his friends down with him, heh.

I'm not a water symbol myself, but when it comes to astrology, I'm not much a good representation of Leo's anyway. There were a whole bunch of other things that went into the symbol choice, though.

I try not to be, but deep down I'm one of those tattoo snobs who winces a little when the reason for a certain tattoo was just "It was up at the parlor and looked pretty".

Hm, never really thought about it, but i think it is improbably that i will want a tattoo sometime.
Though sommetimes i admire a tattoo. Like the facial tattoo from Chakotay, of Startrek Voyager? I dunno, it doesn't represent anything (well, it is supposedly indian, from his tribe, but well...) but it looks good. After watching Voyager i looked at a photo of the actor without the tattoo (it being part of his role, not his own) and thought "Well, he loooks better with the tattoo). So i wonder if some forms of tattoos would have similar effects on me as well. But i would never consider a tattoo with a certain content in image or text...

All this talk of tattoos makes me want one

But I don't know what to get!! And I refuse to be one of those people Nightwine was talking about, who gets something on impulse because "it looked cool in the store." A tattoo is an addition to your body, it is part of the artistic depiction of yourself. It is not to be taken lightly, or done flippantly.

Something with water does resonate deeply with me. Latin too, or maybe Greek. I'm a lover of languages. We shall see.

I've only recently started wanting a tattoo, but I really want one now.
The thing is, I don't know what I'd get. I want someone with meaning, I don't want to get one just to get one, y'know?

Another hard part for me is figuring out what I would love to see inked into my skin every morning for the rest of my life. I change my mind so frequently, what could I get a tattoo of that I would be happy with five, ten, twenty years down the road?

Yes, and even more about 40 years or more down the road? ;)

I don't have any courage either to have a tattoo in my body..
I'm an easily bored person.. so I'm afraid if I'm making a decision to make one, I would probably regret it a couple years from it..
