While scrolling through, I read this as "... trying to lick my pillow." and all I could think was 1) Why? 2) How hard could that be?
That's what I get for reading whilst scrolling, I guess.

It is pretty nuts how much people used to physically write to one another. My favorite author (Lovecraft :D) according to some sources manages to write nearly 100,000 of them (long, detailed letters too, nothing light) in his relatively short life time, which utterly annihilates the amount of published work he has lol.

I do remember before the internet. Dark times. Do no want to go back.

I would like to send owls to people though.
I still write a lot with paper/pen. Not because I want to but because some people I know still don't have internet access at home. So I still write letters. I don't mind. (And I being ambidextrous, I never get tired hands... I just switch!)

I used to type all my letters back in the day... on a 1928 Royal typewriter. I loved that thing. I wish I still had it.

    Convo at work last night...

    Marisella: War, what's your sign?
Me: Why? Are you hitting on me?
    Marisella: NO! Shut up!
    Me: Aries...
    Marisella: I knew it!
    Me: What?
Marisella: That you were an Aries.
    Me: Yeah? How?
Marisella... Because all three of my kids are Aries. And this new baby? It will be an Aries too.
    Me: And???
Marisella: And they're all stubborn, won't listen to anything anybody says, won't do anything anybody says. They're so damned independant... and stubborn. Did I mention they were stubborn? And that they listen to nobody? They listen to nobody. Ever.
Me: And this relates to me how?
    Marisella: You cannot be serious...
    Me: Ok. Fair enough.

Stevie made me so happy this morning...

I have so many mix dvds in the War Pony, I forget what I have until it ends up playing. Forgot I had this on there. Pleasant surprise on the drive home.

    So....
I just made my horse property available for lease, since selling will require a certain kind of buyer, with a certain amount of cash, which I'm certain will take a certain amount of time for all this to happen, and it seems silly to let it just sit there when it could be earning it's keep.

    So....
No worries, no stressing, the right person to lease the facility will come along if it's meant to be.

They do all the work, and I just enjoy the view...sounds good, right????

So. Done editing. Actually finished sooner than I expected, as I didn't expect to finish until tomorrow morning. No home game this week, so next week will be photo edit free... unless I go to the zoo with K... but even so, I won't have to edit on a schedule, which is much better than knowing you have to get something done... now. Less stressful.

Finished season one of Homeland last night. Excellent show. I'd actually take time out of my schedule to watch it if I felt like paying for premium cable channels, which I do not. (Makes no sense to pay extra for one show. I really don't watch TV anymore.) So, I'll have to wait until this time next year, when S2 dvds come out, to find out what happens next. That makes me sad.

Will start S8 of House tonight. That also makes me sad... for completely different reasons.

And after that... back to Netflix... to watch... one of the 50 or so things I've got in my queue.

Why is it the more you ignore a yapping little dog, the more it barks?

Had a dream of the Black Knight today... no idea why... guess I need to watch Holy Grail again soon.

    You're a looney!

I want a motorcycle!!! A deep blue really cool little one. It'll be super awesome!!!

I'm gonna ride it with a helmet on so no one will know it is me.
I may have to retire the hobby when I reach 40. After that, I'll feel just silly!

So it's now or never! I want to get myself one for my birthday.
They should be cheaper in the winter anyways.

I've been seriously considering doing that myself. Nice dual sport bike as I'd spend far more time on minimum maintenance roads, etc. and they're relatively inexpensive compared to street bikes.

Just a consideration at the moment, though.

I write with a pen when I write creatively. Sitting behind my pc reminds me too much of work.
