    Never recovered from your alcohol poisoning?

    Watch all of The X-Files on Netflix. Probably won't finish before you're well though. Or The Wire (HBO)... I'm liking that pretty well. Catch up The Walking Dead (latina with knife, remember?)...

    And yeah, I knowk those aren't movies...

    Let's see... I've recently watched The Grand Budapest Hotel, Birdman, American Sniper, The Imitation Game, Unbroken, The Theory of Everything and the last Hobbit movie. None of those will kill you, if you've not already seen them.

    Probably not very helpful on the movie bit since I don't go to the theatre much and always see things way late. *shrugs*

    Tired. Made my brain work on Newtonian physics. Which would be a lot easier if I had any background at all in physics, algebra, geometry, calculus... you know... those manner of things. I don't though, so there ya go.

    I've done two bits of scored work and received grades of 86% and 83%. So far, so good... I guess. At least until the mathematics bit catches up with me. However... it's possible that if I score high enough in the non mathematical bits that I can still pass without having the slightest idea what's going on with the math stuff. I know, cuz I've done that before. (I so suck at math. Seriously.)

    We'll see. The MIT courses are notoriously difficult... so I will probably find out in short order whether or not I'm going to be able to pull this off. I don't care one way or the other. It's something to do. Not like I'm dropping dime on it or anything. And it's probably still going to be interesting. Or interesting enough, at least. And if not? Well... I can always drop the course and wait till the fall courses come out... see if there's anything interesting coming out then.

    So far... I understand the mathematical equations in that I understand what the words mean, if that makes any sense? Probably not. If the equation is written on the screen, I know what the equation is for... what it means, as far as words are concerned. However, if I had to actually use the equation to figure something out? I'd be so totally screwed. Mathematically, I have no earthly idea what any of that nonsense means.

    That bit will probably last... but if I have to use them? Yeah... not so much.

    It's raining like all hell here and making thunder and stuff. At least it should be good sleeping weather as it's all dark and dreary outside, despite the hour. I'm ok with that. Not like I'm going to be outside doing anything anyway.

    Going to take my sleepy self to bed. Call it an early day.

    I was late to Breaking Bad and binge-watched the first two seasons to catch up to season 3 when I had 4 days off a couple yrs ago.

    Is there anything new you've missed?

    Gotham?

    Well recovered from the alcohol poisoning. Remember that big hospital ordeal I had back in November that led to my getting a needle in the spine only for every test to come back negative? Happening again. I'm dead set I'm not going to a hospital this time. It will just be the same shit. "Spend 36 hours on a chair, 6 hours having a shit sleep under a sink because we have no beds and we'll send you home with no answers again!" Nope. Fuck off. In the end I watched the Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Interstellar (again). Wasn't in the mood for a TV series. I have 12 Years A Slave and Wolf of Wall Street lined up next. I can also read today. I had such a foggy head yesterday reading wasn't an option.

    And I ate today! Didn't at at all yesterday and you know what? Didn't even feel like I needed to. Just wasn't hungry.

    My mam is talking about bringing me to the doctor tomorrow. The doctor will only send me to hospital so I'll have to think of a way to get out of that.

    I've had these two in the queue for awhile myself.

    I almost never go to the cinema so I have to catch the releases later on. A lot of the time I forget about them but I accidentally came across one of them on IMDB so I was reminded of it.

    I have to really want to see something bad to go to the cinema for it. I might do it for the re-release of Jaws this month though.

    Actually I remember I wanted to see Interstellar in the cinema but I got really sick and was bedridden for a few weeks. Didn't leave the house for months. Watched a lot of movies then too.

    I got bit by a brown recluse spider a couple weeks back. It turned me into a recluse for a couple days. Fortunately I caught a run of Battlestar Galactica.

    Finished that too during my time in bed.

    Well... that's not good. We can't have Jebby being all fluffy headed 'n shit. I watched Benjamin Buttons a long while ago. Before Netflix even... I rented it via my phone renting movie system of the day, whatever that was called. Watched it on my phone in central control at work. Cuz... why not?

    I still haven't seen Interstellar. Is that worth a purchase? Robby told me I should check out Black Swan, he said I'd like it... so I'm making a new dvd purchase list.

    Yup. I buy a shit load of dvds so I can have something to do at work... that and if it's a good movie (or a series) I'll watch it over and over and over.

    Oh... have you ever seen Band of Brothers, the HBO miniseries? If not, you should. I think you'd like it.

    This is me, generally.

    Hmmmmmmmmm... never thought about seeing the rerelease of Jaws on the big screen. But then... I saw it on the big screen the first time around, back in 1975.

    ~~~
    Good sleeps today. It being dark and dreary helped, I'm sure. The black out curtain is also good at keeping out dreary. So... here's my product review: Walmartian black out curtain... keeps out the dark very well. Keeps out the dreary moderately well. Keeps out the light? Not so much.
    It's all good.
    Does feel like I didn't sleep much at all. Tossy 'n turny has been the method of sleep lately. I think I need my sleep meds. I'm just not sleepy very well very consistently.
    Watch, though... the weekend will roll around and I'll do nothing but sleep and do so well.
    Dunno about the weekend plans. Supposed to rain and be stupid all through. Will likely just stay home and stay inside. Fuck mother nature and her wet nonsense. Watch movies and play games. Or maybe go hang out at RN's... she did mention that earlier in the week. We'll see, I guess.
    There's some concern tonight/tomorrow for flash flooding. It's raining buckets again... and hard, up to 3" an hour. Which is a lot of rain to get in a short period of time and the storms keep running over the same area, over and over and over. There were already reporting a mid sized creek out of it's banks and over a highway during the 5p news, sooooooooooooooo...
    Whatever. As long as I can get home in the morning, it's all good.
    Hope we have a fair amount of staff, cuz I had a bust ass Thursday last week and if we don't have enough staff, I'll be stuck with that nonsense again. I just want to sit about and play games on my tablet... and study some Newtonian physics. I don't wanna be running all over the facility, busting ass all night. Especially not on my last night of the work week, yo. Easy peasy sounds better.
    Been reading about these nasty Duggar people. Yuck. They're so disgusting... they were disgusting before they were perpetrating/covering up child molestation. Now they're disgusting times infinity.
    Anyhoodles... off I go to do something or other.
