Once a friend to me....... always a friend. No matter, if we don't talk for 40 years, I just pick up where we left off. I seem to have lost all adherence and awareness, for time and that some people need more contact. People come in and out of my life, I don't mind if they are not around all the time.

However, if you were once a friend to me and we had a falling out (hey, it happens), or Door Slam Party, then end of story. Sleep with the fishes. Boundaries and steel reinforced stone cold walls, are a Martha Stewart *good thing*.

I'm probably a "difficult" friend, as the other person (or friend), usually, does most, if not all, the contacting and keeping in touch.

Acquaintances? I'm having a hard time thinking of just one, as my "circle" of Humans, is so small. You are either in or out, with me. I guess the person at the grocery store that checks me out at the register is an acquaintance?

What freaks me out is when someone uses my first name, and I have NO IDEA who they are. Wow -- how do you know me, but I don't know you! Tin foil hat time! Who told you may name, I surely didn't. CREE--heeeee-heeeee-PY!

This is actually most of my frienships tbh. I always consider someone closer to me than they really are and it that has caused me a lot of pain over the years. The girl I consider my best friend, for example, doesn't consider me as her best friend, and that has been the cause for a lot of anger I directed towards her and her actual best friend. She tells me I am her best friend, but since I believe more in actions than words, her actions say otherwise. We are pretty close though but I'm always the one to start conversations and etc. She is also an INFJ, and I feel like I almost never can tell how she really feels about something unless I ask her. Quite exhausting.
