    I know they told you to care about others in school but,
    we can tell you don't care or are not really interested for yourself, and it's a bad taste in the mouth.

    Practice. Practice those comfortable silences. It's a skill for you, I think, because it's not a natural state of being (extroverted brain), and you are having difficulties.

    For me, it comes no where near being a "skill" -- it is a natural preference.

    I luv, both comfortable and uncomfortable silences - as long as someone, isn't yapping away. What I have had to learn & accept is some people, when in my presence, want to talk.

    I prefer they draw pictures. Or write me a book.
