    The Unofficial INFP Self-Improvement/Motivation Thread!

For some reason I always find it motivating to me to post about things I'd like to do online. Maybe it's knowing others are rooting for me, maybe it's seeing everything written out in front of me, maybe it's the mere act of writing it out itself!
Either way, I thought it could be fun to have a thread where we talk about our goals, struggles, and projects, and cheer each other on.

I'm mainly trying to do three things right now:
    1. Get my study habits/schedule in order
    2. Find a sense of style and become cute
    3. Rearrange my bedroom

I'm kind of in a slump for all of them, but I did manage to get my room surface-clean in record timing with the help of my boyfriend, and I think I'll be going to bed on time tonight for the first time since I put together my schedule. I keep finding excuses to come straight home after school so tomorrow I'll definitely stick around and get some major studying done no matter what!

The next immediate step is for me to get off the internet and into bed though. Goodnight!

EDIT: I failed on the bedtime. Today was actually two parts failed experiment. Oh well! Let's just hope I end up going to sleep soon at this point....

    Haha good luck! :3
I actually suck terribly at studying/homework. I'm taking a Biology class at my college (microbiology) and I've gone through 10 chapter's worth of information without opening the book @[email protected] I do good on the quizzes on alright on the exams, but I procrastinated on getting my online homework set up so I have a 60something percent T-T

Like everyone else, I'm going to try and study and do homework more, and get to places on time. I'm actually doing really well! Which is good.
Oh, and I'm going to motivate myself to be more self confident :)

Good luck! I think my appearance-related goal is something of a similar deal.

I woke up an hour later than I want to, but that's because I went to sleep an hour late as well. It'll be okay, just no anime this morning. Priorities this morning are to leave home on time, eat breakfast, make lunch, and be stylin'.

I just need to work on getting myself to take more risks. Go to events and that, and try to socialize more with people. (At the moment I'm almost a true hermit. Only one friend and my family are in regular touch. Can't seem to connect to anyone at work either... :( )

I always get to school. But I usually have to skip breakfast to do so :( I guess getting there is slightly more important.

    oh yeah, motivation!
I'm at a point where I want to improve several fields of my life and myself as well,
mostly to stop being so lazy and demotivated and start getting things done

today I made a todo-list I want to try to stick to,
but more general goals I set myself for the near future are:

    1. get my study things done (only missing two exams for my Bachelor)
    2. workout / improve my appearence (that one is really overdue, I'll start with a new haircut tomorrow)
    3. manage to live a more regular/active life (fighting my moodswings/downtimes and do things even if I dont feel like it)
    4. learn Japanese/improve English
    5. find my purpose in life / carreer field where I want to specialize myself in (that one will be the hardest and is the most important)
    6. improve myself (socially, personally, etc)

are you guys making todo-lists? (I mean more detailed ones with easier achievable goals)
I like to make such when I want to get things done, sometimes it works (this time hopefully, lol), sometimes it did not.
    Also I feel like I have to structure my life more in general;
essentially I feel like I have to work more with my Te to get forward.

I'm not sure if I'm still moving in "INFP-area" with this mindset though,
after all Te should be my inferior function.. but sometimes I think I use it more than Ne

on the same time I'm not even sure Te, Ne or functions in general are truly things, or the things I think them to be..

but oh well, I think I shouldnt trouble myself too much with that,
I'll stick to whatever works for me and brings me forward ;)

My main thing is organization. i'd like to be more organized but everything is such a mess...at least I can say it's organized chaos in the sense that it's messy but I can find everything.

I also need to work on motivation in general. -__-

@RedForest - I LOVE to-do lists. Writing down lists calms me down for some reason. It makes everything look like it's easy even when it isn't, hahaha!

Here's my to-do list for today:
    1. Schedule a counseling appointment to see about getting my symbolic logic class to transfer.
    2. Schedule my Physics test.
    3. Ch 8 - physics
    4. 11.1 & 11.2 - calculus
-Finish filling out my college application, save the essay for tomorrow.

My engineering club officer meeting is in a little under 2 hours, so my short-term goal will be to study from now until then!
I'll go driving with my boyfriend after class (a slightly smaller goal for me is to get my license), and combine it with maybe dinner and a night photography excursion to relax. But if it rains too hard to really be able to drive safely I might substitute that for some hot milk tea and some knitting and anime.
