Love love love. Oh, love you're a crock of shi......

Tell you the truth, it has too many cons. The worst part of this is I crave love more than anything. I mean romantic love. <--- That sounds so dumb and cheesy as I repeat it out loud.

I believe my maker made me into a defect, and pushed me out anyway. "Nah, she'll be aiight"

And why did they take the dating part down on here? Oh well.

Do most of you infps have compatibility issues? Heh..perhaps we are just screwed.
    From birth. Sadly.

It's not enough that most people don't understand us, but to not find someone romantically who doesn't. That's just Cruel.

i'm sometimes convinced no woman will ever "get" me. as an example, if she were to listen to a favorite song of mine she'd never get the meaning, the subtleties in the instruments, or why the song moves me the way it does. i then think that if no one else can get something as simple (in my mind) as that then how can they ever understand me?

i'm able to connect with women on basic levels but there's never any strong bond there that tells me this is the one or that this will last. is it too much to ask for a woman who knows me at the core and can walk into a room and know exactly what i'm feeling without me saying a word? :D

Alright. No one can know exactly how you feel, especially just by walking into a room and meeting you.
At least, I can't do that with anyone...unless they're a real infp. Which song are you talking about?

I think you just want to share these feelings and they are not shared because no one gets them, or so you assume.

the song is samain night by loreena mckennitt. the usual reaction of other people is "yeah... pretty song." lol

i not expecting someone to meet me and know me... i'm talking about someone who *knows* me deep down. as far as walking into a room and reading people goes, i do it all the time. its usually way easier with friends, though.

I really like the violin in that song, that kind of playing I could always relate to. It's got a sort of southern twang to it. Always reminded me of "home" or apple pie for some reason, lol.
Songs are better listened to with headphones, you can hear them clearly. The song reminds me of Tarja Turunen, former member of nightwish.

I also crave love. I love being in love, and think of it as my religion. It's what I have the most faith in, and it's what I value most. I definitely feel I need a woman who feels the same way, or else I don't know if we'd ever fully connect.

I also love love.. but I feel like I can't find someone to love me back equally. Occasionally I also feel defective, as if I wasn't put here to have anyone, you know? Like I was put on this world to help others be happy rather than be happy myself. I know I know, stupid thinking, but it crosses my mind because it sometimes seems like the only explaination!

I feel like I need a man in order to feel happy, but not a "man" ....that person who appreciates my affection, my thoughtfulness, and doesn't flake out. Especially when I get 'clingy'

I hate to say this to you, but I feel more sorrowed for you because you are very beautiful, and stupid guys like to take advantage of that, and they don't look deeper. Do you tend to attract the shallow guys? I'm not calling you shallow, or saying that your beauty is a curse, but I think it makes it harder for you as an INFP
