There is a separate forum for this

I've seen Oscar Wilde typed as every xNxP type. Probably ENxP, though I'm not sure.

about van gogh, his sister said she would wish van gogh thought of himself like a normal human being.. he didnt... i dont either..

for that reason id say ifnp hehe
plus i also read that he shifted jobs - shows he was idealistic.. and not finishing like it was expected of him to do.. like infp that has gone wrong... me too...

I once read that Oscar Wilde used to walk about London with a lobster on a silk leash. When asked why he was taking walks with a lobster, he would tell them that it was because it didn't bark, and knew everything about the sea.

I'm too tired to try to figure out his MBTI, but I just felt like. A sudden need. To share that. Anecdote.

EDIT: How come you can't thank your own posts? :(

Because that's not what it's there for. It's there for you to appreciate other people, Mr. Egoton. Not yourself.

Hey I was just trying to demonstrate how much I liked that anecdote whilst demonstrating my tiredness also. I didn't actually mean it like that

Morrissey - INFJ, his songs seem really Fi at times, but in interviews, there's not much trace of it, IMO.

Van Gogh - INFP, although some say ISFP. No doubt to me that he is Fi-dom though.

Wilde - I think he is N-dom & a Fe user. Maybe ENTP or INFJ. The I/E part is hard to say, and I don't see strong Ti, personally. That's why I lean towards INFJ. Maybe I'm wrong & ENFP makes more sense then...

They look at the world in a way that is built from their judging and feeling consonance.

Van Gogh is about as INFP as it gets. Wild, insane, Ne going wild. Buzzing around with bizarre ideas, freaking people out, retreats back to his Fi imagination. Holed up in his apartment painting maniacally. All the intense feelings poured into his work.

The man was literally a pioneer in art and misunderstood throughout his entire life. He was living in a time that didn't appreciate him and that's the real tragedy of Van Gogh. We all love him now, but he suffered a lot for the things he's praised for now. If only he could have been born in another time...

For fans of Van Gogh, watch this incredible Dr. Who episode where they bring him to modern times. The actor does a great job!
