    I appreciate varieties in humor.

Laughter is a huge value to me, it helps keep things light during the darkest moments.

I've been told I use dark/morbid/ironic/sarcastic humor, I've been told I can be very witty, I'm also really goofy and silly. It depends on the moment, I like making people laugh and will feel out the situation and go with it. It's hit and miss, most don't appreciate it :P The few that do, love me for it.

What makes me laugh, it is sometimes the simplest things and not always easy to explain to other people. Anything and everything when I'm in a joyous mood.

EDIT: ALSO, I tease, taunt and love banter. It's a liberty I take.
And..I make vulgarity classy. Really. I do.
    I think :/

    Humour:

    Banter

    Example

Person One: "shoot, I gotta run to catch it before it burns me alive"

Person Two: "it is certainly burning me up, it has it's primary grip around your "boom boom"area"

Person One: " I don't have crabs, shut up *looks around* Are you trying to get me banned"

Person Two: " *LOUD VOICE* Yes, Sir I have noticed you FORGOT your CONTRABAND"

Person One: *punches person two's right shoulder*

Person Two: " wooooow who said anything about crabs...Wait,wah?"

Person One: "Lets get out of here, fast"

Person Two: "You didn't say that last night with Lisa *laughs*"
"Okay, grab my truck ends up sounding like the word "JUNK""

*everyone in bar turns around to leer at both person One and Two"

Person One: "*pats person two's back* LETS GET OUT OF HERE, NOW!"

    What makes me laugh

    • silly costumes
    • people back tracking with their words because it wasn't what they meant to say
    • dramatic personalities
    • quirky people who can't see how quickery they truly are
    • people trying to tell a joke but midway of telling their story, they forget the joke so they go on to create their own individual endings

I more often chuckle or smile and less occasionally laugh out out loud. I "lol" on the inside, which doesn't make much sense.

What types are you talking about? Like puns, sarcasm etc? Or are you talking about dry humor, raunchy, toilet humor, slapstick? Or maybe you're looking for examples?

In the example case the actor Nathan Fillion's style of humor, whatever that is. I thought Firefly had a lot of funny moments and I think his reactions are great in the tv show "Castle". Seth Rogen is also great and I'm really looking forward to the Green Hornet movie.

As far as the type I use, is clever a type? I like to think that the type of humor I use is clever, though maybe I'm the only one who thinks so. In that case the type of humor I use most often is the kind that humors myself regardless of whether anyone else finds it funny I guess this would also be an example :)

I smile and laugh at everything and anything. It's my first reaction to life.

My jokes on the other hand are quite odd and usually not appreciated by most. I'll get the pity-pat or chuckle, but that's it. Luckily, it doesn't bother me all that much and I'm more than happy to laugh at myself as at anything else. ;-)

I use awkward humor, I enjoy playing devil's advocate, maybe fabricating a faux anecdote with a hint of sarcasm that usually goes undetected. It's really hit or miss...

But... I can honestly laugh at anything

Humour that is on the cynical sarcastic side is very funny, i also like crazy comedy's like liar liar, blades of glory where the situation is hilarious as well as the gags. i also love old british comedy like blackadder, fawlty towers etc. Takes a lot to make me laugh so when i laugh i really laugh, get complete giggles and chuckle for about an hour afterwards.
