    INFP - The Idealists

Your score was 70 of 100.

This puts you in the category of the high Machs, people who do not belive in the goodness of the world and that because that it must be manipulated, people who Machiavelli would approve of.

A graph of how others who have taken this have scores is below. These scores should not be taken as population norms though, the people who seek out tests of machivellianism on the internet are most likely not representative.

I dunno how accurate this is . . . I answered neutral for most of these anyway

Yeah, well, I'm enneagram 4, so please allow me to compensate my inherent self-doubt with a bit of narcissism, lol

    Narcissism | 1.4 | 9
    Machiavellianism | 2.1 | 23
    Psychopathy | 0.4 | 0

Your score was 60 of 100.
This puts you in the category of the low Machs, people who will hold out for the goodness of the world and avoid manipulation. Not the people Machiavelli would approve of.

Oh, what makes you say that? I often type as an INFJ (especially as of late), however I still believe myself to be an INFP, simply because it, overall, sounds a lot more like me, especially the whole 'idealistic dreamer' thing. I do sometimes wonder though.
@BlueChristmas06 Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I have some links to further reading on the subject. I can't verify how legitimate it all is, but: https://psychometricsforumblog.wordp...lk-into-a-bar/

Well, if you don't have Ni and Fe and type as INFJ, you're probably an ENFP. Lots of ENFPs get mistyped because the tests treat extroversion only as social extroversion, while Ne and Se are about drinking in certain kinds of information from environment.
Generally, if not talking about very Ne things - that is talking about some Ne related project or brainstorming or something like that, Te and Si will be used, which will cause quick drain of energy.

Fe and Te are much more traditionally extroverted and actually INFJs and INTJs can easily talk an ENFP to death.

That causes common mistyping as an introvert.

Tertiary Te gives ENFP more Machiavellian quality than INFPs which may make them be confused with INFJs.

Before I got read as a Nyy'xai (ENFP correlate) by Pod'Lair, I briefly thought that I may be an INFJ (even got 82% INFJ in CelebrityTypes INFP vs. INFJ test) and before that I was mistyped as INFP and years before that as an INTP.

Generally, ENFPs and INFJs mistype a lot on introversion/extraversion axis (passive extrovert and articulate introvert), feeling/thinking axis (auxilary feeling, tertiary thinking) and judging/perceiving axis (tertiary Te and pressure of surroundings to be ordered in ENFPs and tendencies towards dysfunctionality in INFJs).

Hmm...that's really interesting, I'll definitely have to look into that further! I'm still fairly certain I'm an INFP, but it doesn't hurt to check out the possibility of ENFP. I appreciate your insight, you're clearly quite knowledgeable on the subject...I myself only know the basics still. Although from what I gather, extroversion vs. introversion comes down to how you draw your energy, correct? I can quite literally spend a week in my room/apartment not speaking or hearing from any person and be quite content. I'm not sure how an extrovert would fare with such a thing...although I also can become quite animated and expressive around people. I would say I gain energy when around others initially, and then feel rapidly drained of the energy not long afterwards. And as far as how Machiavellian traits relate to the types...not sure. I admit it is odd for an INFP to express such inclinations in their behavior, but I'm sure it's not unheard of. I won't rule out the possibility of mistyping, or receiving an inaccurate portrait from the tests. It's funny you mentioned the INFP vs. INFJ test on CelebrityTypes, I myself have taken that quite a few times and came out as INFJ consistently. Thanks again for your thoughts!
