Decent movie. Favourite movie from Hitchcock so far, although don't really like the director so far (had many disappointments). The problem with Psycho is that the characters are badly written (esp. not the main characters). But it wasn't a boring movie, what was a bit surprising. Good movie with some famous (horror) scènes, although it isn't really a horror movie, more kind of thriller/detective.
And I loved it. Here's a quote:
"Repairing the human heart is like repairing and automobile. You have to take everything apart, just examine everything, and then you can put it all back together."
It's a documentary of the Edward Snowden NSA leak, while it was actually happening.
The last movie I watch was The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and I saw the last 30-40 minutes of it. The last movie I watched from beginning to end was The Little Panda Fighter just to see how bad it really was. 50 minutes felt like 4 hours.
I just finished watching Amelie. I've found out about the movie on one of those silly 'the types as' posts, and INFP as a movie was Amelie. I wasn't expecting it to be in French, but subsequently I quite like watching movies with subtitles.
It was a nice movie. I definitely enjoyed the character of Amelie and the story was refreshing.
Boyhood for the second time.
I really have the feeling that his life is just too perfect, and that he was already full-grown early on. Too early. Quite realistic, although it sketches a life of a very prosperous child, not an average child. And who the fuck listens to Pink Floyd when he is 14 years old. Something just doesn't sound right in this story.
I just watched "Whiplash". It's an incredible and motivational movie with amazing music! Highly reccommend it.
Pickpocket (1959) from Robert Bresson. Didn't like it as much as A Man Escaped, but it was okay. Marika Green is a beautiful actress, will check if I can watch another movie with her.
I just watched Into the Wild and... I don't even know what to say about it. I was so enamored with his journey, but I also felt a heaviness after. I woke up last night thinking about it, and how sad it makes me.
