    Deepest Thought/Idea

What is the deepest thought or idea you've ever had about anything (philosophy, art, culture, psychology, politics, science, etc)? Something that maybe not many people have thought about or something that takes some time to really think about.

I sometimes think about how interesting it is that electrons orbiting the nucleus of an atom kinda looks like planets orbiting the sun, and what if we're just particles in an atom and some super race outside of our universe views our galaxies through a microscope. If this is true and given what we know about our own universe, imagine how vivid and alive the elements inside our atoms are

If humans lived, say, a million years, no mental failings, what would their memory be? How much CAN we physically recall? Would living longer make it easier to remember, or harder? Could we remember how we felt, how we changed, how little things affected our most memorable memories?

(Okay, not the deepest thought but I REALLY want to hear the responses to this one. Don't let me down INTJs.)

My deepest thoughts had been focused around human behavior and the inquisition of morality.
What is considered good or evil?
What makes our view so different?
Is our perception on reality incredibly bias?
Why do we seem to throw away other animals lives so easily but when it comes down to another person, it's suddenly much more precious?
What is the true "Reality" we exist in?
What makes us so different from animals?

I always found it perplexing as to why we do certain things in a certain manner. Many times i find that there's so many complexities with the human behavior, that i wonder if its brain is just for embellishment?

Here are my most recent ("thoughts") today. I would not say they are deeply philosophical; aesthetical or intriguing; rather - a bit random / arbitrary. They are almost followed by "vistualization" / imagination as well. Mostly "why" or "what" questions / thoughts.

Mind you; I visualize almost all my thoughts in a 'real-time' manner. I also "visualize" various routes / alternatives; as well. They are also sometimes very negative - but not always.

    (A) - What does my heart valve look like .. (?) [Visualizes internalized heartbeat]. I also visualized myself [passing out / dying] around 5 times today (&) what such a feat would internally look like. I also visualized my brain a few times under anaesthesia. I am curious of the 'degrees' (lapses in consciousness) would be perceived differently if I could actively experience them. We are not 'actually' sleeping within this lapse.

I was also wondering what I looked like under anesthesia (&) if the body [twitches] during this time - are pain stimuli (awareness) 'still' active - (e.g., cutting of tissue) - but 'reactions' are disabled (&) erased later. (paralyzed sleeper).

    (B) -

[An associate of mine was fiddling / fixing her key-chain - (&) I immediately visualized an ape / early human-primate [problem-solving] with tool(s). I fell into a deep daydream - about how key-chain fiddling was rather primitive - I was compelled to point this out; we are perhap(s) one of the few to problem-solve a key-chain malfunction - however; it seem strangely displaced / irrelevant.

    (C) - The screeching in my [car] - why / what is causing it .. (?) Firstly; the front end alignment, I just had. I imagined the mechanic doing a [front end alignment] no clue what it is; however (&) doing something incorrect. I opened a model-car up via my head (&) utilized my knowledge of what the 'steering' appear(s) like under the frame (bolts / gears, etc) (&) I have been thinking of multiple error(s) of what could have happen by this mechanic; [where they screwed up]. Something must be tight - only occurs in rain.

    (D) - I was considering multiple perspective(s) [via] another agent, and how our subjective-perceptions are perceived - about (2) year(s) ago, I had a previous question revolving around why everyone follow(s) traffic lights [and responds] to them while acquiring still subjectively differential perspective of ("color").

I reckon they are simply following the leader - [or rather, the 'color' perception] is ultimate the same - but varies in distinct degree; however this does not "answer" why we still respond the same way.

Why "triggers" are differential for by certain distinctions; genetically, or otherwise, even if (X)-specimen hasn't any pre-knowledge / awareness of the trigger for it to be conceived.

    (E) - I am in a pickle; I have been "playing out" multiple end(s) / alternatives to a game. Granted; I do not plan on playing it again soon; until I am satisfied with the visualized "route" to take.

I have been "dream" playing this game all day (&) have not touched it - what is rather strange; I desire to play it [and it is readily accessible]. Why not just leave my cognitive-apparatus (&) play ... (?) I rather play it in my head, first.

    (F) - There is a hiccup in one of my payment plan(s); and I am wondering why it keeps it happening. It is a system / technical error. I am more interested in the algorithmic flaw (and it's causes) - than correcting it.

    (G) - What drives a "human" to (X, Y) - and not (Z). I know how; but why is that? The question is defeatist.

    (H) - I am also pondering if this specimen woman has a mental-illness or not [granted] I am rather interested in psychologically-analyzing / diagnosing strangers "with problems" [or observing their strange behaviors].

Is this behavior abnormal .. (?) To what degree ... (?) If an extreme degree; I spend some type either [starring them down]; or a few hours running scenes over (&) over in my head until I am satisfied with a diagnoises.

I reckon this female is some form of histrionic - or sociopath (via) her habits. I find her compulsive lying strange - however; I am only interested in examining her closer.

I was also randomly pondering what mental-malfunction my this male I know has - [he isn't "retarded"], but something is demonstrably wrong with him.

    _______

I do not frequently, if ever, ponder the same questions - my "ideas / thoughts" randomly occur by some event / scenario, through a spark of some sort.

Most recently? I was thinking about the story of the Tower of Babel and how God supposedly scattered humans across the world, confounding their speech, so that they would not be unified in achieving whatever they dreamed. Postulating that God existed, I began to wonder if it was the case that if mankind at some point was actually capable of achieving whatever they desired, would it not be possible to achieve Godhood? Why else would a prideful god seek to destroy any attempts made by man to replicate his power or authority? It could be because it is actually possible. I then wondered if it was possible that God himself was a man who had achieved his position through sheer will combined with ambition and because he's a greedy cunt, he doesn't want anyone else to attain such power either. This would partly explain why he seems to behave (in the stories) as someone with a stupidly big ego and too much power at his disposal. What if God himself was simply an overpowered human?

In my teenage years I used to ponder humanity and it's natural "imposition of will" and how it tied in with what people like to consider an "objective morality". It filled me with resentment, cynicism, all of those good things.

There's plenty of fantasy novels about that concept. I'd heavily recommend Elantris by Brandon Sanderson. That's more predicated on the concept "What if men could become gods, but then lost that ability?"

I always liked the idea of a species or civilization getting ambitious enough to kill their own gods.
